Other intermittent fasting plans?
Just out of pure curiosity and after a talk with some of my coworkers..
I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the other intermittent fasting plans (ex. Fast 5 -> fast for 19 hours, with 5 hour eating window, Leangains --> fast 16 hours, 8 hour eating window. And theres some of other ones out there. Has anyone tried these plans before doing JUDDD? Just curious on your experience/results compared to JUDDD. PS. I LOVE JUDDD, and not looking to change! Just wanted to see how it compares to other fasting plans! |
I have used Fast 5 on vacation instead of rotations and tend to only eat during a small window in the evening on all DDs and often on UDs too, but I follow JUDDD in terms of calorie limits. If I wanted to I'm sure I could over eat in 5 hours if the conditions were correct, so for me Fast 5 will help me maintain on a vacation, but I don't think I would have lost successfully with it.

I've been so happy with JUDDD, and have had pretty consistent success with it, and so I haven't really looked into any other methods. But I can see that some of the other plans might work to shake things up, or during vacations or other different situations.

:) Thank you thank you!! I decided to finally update my picture after losing around 15 pounds (my face has gotten noticeable thinner accordingly to my friends and family) . I can sort of tell in this picture!
Yess I would never think of changing from JUDDD - I love it toooo much!! I was just so surprised that some of my coworkers actually do intermittent fasting plans as well! |

Count me as another who jumps into the Fast 5 format (using JUDDD calories or just eating) in prep for social occasions. IF has huge flexibility in so very many ways.:D |
I was doing HFCL JUDD and it sort of naturally morphed into fast 5. Eating HF means I can go hours and hours without eating and not even notice it and since I love the health benefits of fasting, I started making a conscious effort to eat in 5 or 6 hour windows a few times a week- sort of a JUDD Fast 5 hybrid.
