HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM ACROSS THE POND

I hope all my wonderful JUDDD BUDDDs and their loved ones are enjoying this special day with good company and great food.

I just had a slice of toast with peanut butter and Marmite, and a glass of skimmed milk. And after all my years on Low Carb, believe me, I am giving thanks!

Yes, that is on my list this year! Thanks Cindy. Just so you know- while I give thanks today and feast I will eat no celery or Cucu****!

How wise you are... though I like a little celery in some of the turkey stuffings I make.

Carly 11-22-2012 06:25 AM

Well if it's hidden in a bunch of carbs then I'll eat it!

How thoughtful of you, Cindy. Thank you. My Scottish friend (now a US citizen) says it's her favorite holiday as it's all about family, friends and being together. She doesn't feel it has the commercialism of so many other holidays.

Of course, now, for many it's all about gearing up for Christmas shopping Black Friday specials, that start earlier and earlier each year. :(

Thank you Cindy. Enjoy your Marmite, for today I will enjoy (?) some tofu turkey! :hyst:

Thank you Cindy! I hope you have a wonderful day also. I had 2 cupcakes for breakfast, while you ate marmite. :D

Don't you dare Erika, we all deserve a laugh, and I have a feeling there will be a good few laughs tomorrow....

Happy TG from north of the 47th parallel, or whatever it's called. From Canada, I mean. Lotsa love to all of you. :)

Thanks for the greeting, Kissa. We just returned from brunch with friends in Waikiki. We'll go to other friends for dinner later on. It is a bit overcast here, but warm. Wish you could be here, too!

Hugs:hugs:

Ok, not hiding Cindy, I am here to claim my victory! I just KNOW I am the Thanksgiving Day winner with a 7.2 gain:hyst::hyst::hyst:

That's what 50,000 calories will do! :hyst: No worries, it'll be back off lickety split!

Kissa 11-23-2012 05:04 AM

Erika, you may be right there! Well done you.
