I am ELATED...or at the least "Normal"

I am NORMAL!!!!

Well, at least my blood labs are normal now and someday, SOMEday my weight will be normal too! It was only three months ago I was in here crying after my doctor appointment. Now I am elated! I have been borderline diabetic and high cholesterol for this past year, actually longer. JUDDD has changed everything for me. It is amazes me that I am eating the same number of calories as I was before starting JUDDD and that I have lost quite a bit of weight by simply “timing” my eating. I eat all types of foods, nothing is off limits other than diet pop.

My labs PROVE that IF is what my body wants/needs. There is no other possible explanation. I have not started any exercise agenda yet. My doc asked me exactly WHAT was I doing. I’m not sure she believed me when I told I was feeling so much better simply by IF, however these lab results are proof, even for her, that something very good is happening. Three months ago she wanted to put me on blood pressure medication. BP is now much better and she says lets just keep going with “whatever” I’m doing! Hooray JUDDD!!!

Latest Results:

A1C is now 5.4........ (4.5 – 6.0 is normal)
Cholesterol: 160 ..... (Under 200 Desirable)
HDL: 42 ................. (40-55 within normal limits)
TRG: 111 ............... (Under 150 is Normal)
LDL: 96 .................. (Under 100 Optimal)
LDL/HDL Ratio: 2.3 .. (Less than 2.5 is Optimal/Low Risk)

Fantastic news, Connie! WTG!

You have proof positive that JUDDD works not only for weight loss, but for health. We all need to see and hear that. It's a great reminder that when losses are slower than we like, there's more going on than just loss. YAAAAYYYY!

For those of you who wonder if JUDDD is doing something while you are drumming your fingers waiting for the scale to move, please DO keep this in mind. It seems to be very good for the body!

My body is normalizing, working with me instead of causing problems. Having a lot more to lose is not fun, however knowing that great things are happening inside is fantastic! I am getting healthier everyday!

I wish I would have had labs before I started JUDDD. My labs in August were great, but I have nothing to compare them with. Sadly, I didn't really take my health seriously before. Maybe someone reading this thread and just starting out will be encouraged to go get a baseline done.

It was someone here who had mentioned that before I started JUDDD, that they wished they had. (I was reading this board for a few weeks before starting JUDDD, since I believe that it couldn't work for me I was apprehensive to start!) Since I get my labs done about every three months, for the past many years. I actually decided to wait to begin JUDDD to note any changes that might occur. I wasn't really expecting any, but thought it would be interesting to see. I had a test the last week of March, 2012 and started JUDDD on April 1st. I'll have to go find the other lab from March, and the one from July and compare exactly how much each thing has improved. If I can find them soon, I'll post the last three.

Congratulations!

I sure hope I do as well as you did. I had bloodwork last week for our company wellness program. My blood pressure was on the high side (and it has been trending up this year after years of being low). My cholesterol was 210, and my LDL was high. And this is AFTER three months of JUDDD. I hadn't had tests since last year, so no benchmark

I wasn't planning on having more bloodwork until next November, but I may have to in order to tell if this is having any effect.

Please hang in there. If I remember correctly, my labs in July had only slightly improved, and not in all areas. I really have to find those...I think I posted them on this forum, however I'm not sure how to find my old post. It was this week's results that really show that something indeed IS happening!

Okay, I found my labs, other than JUDDD, the only thing I've done differently is to quit drinking diet pop, which I did in January.

This week:
TC: 160
HDL: 42 (the good cholesterol)
TRG: 111
LDL: 96
LDL/HDL Ratio: 2.3
A1C: 5.4

July, 2012: (A little over 3 months on JUDDD)
TC: 176
HDL: 35
TRG: 130
LDL: 105
Ratio: 3.0
A1C: 5.7

March, 2012: (Started JUDDD just days after this lab)
TC: 161
HDL: 34
TRG: 165
LDL: 94
Ratio: 2.8
A1C: 5.8

January 2012: (Quit Diet Pop on January 6th)
TC: 185
HDL: 39
TRG: 130
LDL: 120
Ratio: 3.1
A1C: 6.5 (two this high would have been a "diabetic" diagnosis

What fantastic lab results.

Just think .... the changes you have been making, even when it's hard, even when you may not be getting results has quickly as you hoped (although I think they are amazing!), have been healing you on the inside. You may have prevented diabetes!!!!!! WOW! Congratulations ... I'm thrilled for you.

Even when those pesky scales don't seem to helping , JUDDD is still working away for our benefit.
