Do you feel like you're shrinking at both ends?

What I mean is, do you see losses first in your face, hands, feet, arms, calves, etc?

I admit I am seeing all of me getting smaller, but the most dramatic places are my hands and feet (smaller shoes and rings fitting better) my face, upper chest, and my lower legs are looking pretty good. Maybe it's just that, while those areas did get fatter, there's just not the volume of fat there that there is in the belly, butt, thighs, upper arms, etc. So it's more dramatic as they lose proportionally.

What are your experiences?

So far it's all in my stomach/rib area. I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring in over a year due to gaining weight and I still can't get it on, though it's getting close I've never had it re-sized in the 10 years that I've been married, so the day I can fit it on again will mean my fingers are the same size as they were on my wedding day

Same here. My face, neck, arms, and lower legs are downright slim, but I still have a bit of padding in my thighs and stomach. If it weren't for those areas, I'd call goal already!

Oh definitely. The midsection was the absolute last place to whittle down noticeably, and my pant size didn't even change until the very end. Even at goal my waistline and lower belly to upper thigh area isn't close to an ideal proportion to the rest of me, and I struggled a bit with that at first, but to lose more would definitely not be a good look for the rest of me, especially my face. Bony hands is also not a look I enjoy. I wish I could shift that midsection padding to my face to help combat the lines and the aged look.

I've noticed just in the 10 lbs I've lost that my rings are loose, and my face and upper body are smaller. I absolutely hated having a fat face and would take an older looking face over a fat one any day, lol. I can live with my fat thighs, as I've always had them, but not face and back fat. Ugh. Looking forward to more losses!!!

And I would happily take bony hands if skinny thighs came along with them.
My bum and thighs are the last to go and the first to come back with even 3 or 4 pounds gained.
We're a beautiful and eclectic bunch, aren't we?

Exactly what Dawn said except my thighs are actually pretty small minus the extra skin, but the belly, for get about it! I went from a tight size 8 shoe to stepping out of my 7s when walking fast. I'm wearing my wedding rings and right hand ring on my middle fingers I weigh a lot less than I did the day I got married. Almost 30 pounds less so rings have shifted fingers because I won't size them till goal ( I'm afraid it will jinx me- I'm serious)
Most of me looks like I should be a 4 or 6, but my waist still says I'm a 10 maybe it's a JUDDD thing.

I have lost about 1.5 in. in my waist since starting LC, and it's been about that for over a month. Lost those inches after the first four weeks. It was 39 and is now 37.5. Hips are 47.5. I want a 28 in waist and 38 hips...that'll suit me ok.

You don't know how comforting this thread was to read! To be "happy" with my thighs I'd like to lose a couple of pounds, but then my face looks gaunt. It's such a comfort to know others have the same issue. Now that I think of it, I've seen this look on a lot of gals. It probably does have to do with being "gifted" with extra pounds, and then losing them. I don't think people who have always been thin get this shape.
