Happy Monday JUDDD BUDDDS!

This is the start of my 4th week of JUDDD. The scale is moving sllloooowww but this is what I expected with being close to goal. I am really loving JUDDD though. Some weekends are hard by having a Friday and Sunday DD but I look forward to Saturdays and Mondays and of course the following weekend when I have 2 UD's.

How far along are you and how much weight have you lost?

I think threads like these motivate those who are chugging along and those who are just starting out.

Donna - my preferred rotation is definitely MWFSu. Those are the weeks I struggle the least. That being said, it's Monday and UP day for me! LOVE THIS WEEK! Plus it works out well for me next week with Thanksgiving!!

I have been on JUDDD for almost 7 months. I am down 20 pounds and would like to lose another 8-10. During that time I took a few months and switched to maintenance and did just that, MAINTAINED while still eating/living life. I can honestly say, JUDDD has answered all my prayers as far as WOE. My DH follows with me and he is down 40 pounds and is where he wants to be. He only does about 2 true DD's a week and he maintains very easily! Gotta HATE men for that!

I too am liking the rotations. I still eat very low carb on both up and down days but I have been eating too many calories on just Low carb so this is helping me break a stall. Just completed my second rotation and broke my stall by 2 pounds!! Very surprising since I am only 10 pounds from goal! And because I am well established with my Low Carb woe ( since June) I assume it isn't water weight!
Thanks JUDDD!! <3

WOE: JUDDD for WL/5:2 IF for maintenance
Just started JUDDD on the 8th So far I've had two DD's and I admit they've been rough. But, it sounds like starting out this is fairly normal and hopefully they'll start getting smoother soon! Since starting I've lost 2.5lbs, which gives me a grand total loss of 10.5lb since I started lc last month 10 down, 20 to go!

WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
I'm 11 months in with JUDDD and have lost about 90 pounds.

I'm not sure how much more I want to lose. My original goal was 175, then I lowered it to 160. As I'm nearing 175 though, I notice I have quite a bit of excess skin (sorry if it's TMI), but I have to wonder how much that extra skin weighs. My collar bones and upper ribs are starting to show, but there's all this flab around my midsection and upper thighs. DH said my calves are downright skinny. If I have 15 pounds of excess skin (how does one figure that out???), I may be near or at goal already. This is the first time in years I've actually had to concern myself with being TOO thin. I have mild OCD, and have to watch to make sure I don't get too obsessive about the scale number, and really evaluate my body objectively.

I am just into my 3rd week with JUDDD and have lost about 7.5 so far. I love how the rotations literally fit with my husband's work schedule, especially for the weekends when we go out. So far so good!

4 months in, -30 on JUDDD, and going strong.

Dawn - would you ever consider getting the dunk tank body fat test? It would let you know better than the scale where you're at? I've read (and seen photos) where the loose skin does adjust and tighten some over time!

Over a year in now. I lost 10 lbs in the first 3 months dropping me to below my goal weight. Had been doing Atkins for over 10 years.

I have maintained so happily and easily since then. Any little jump on the scale after a vacation or wild weekend is soon sorted by a couple of good DDs.

Love, love, love JUDDD.

Off to Google the dunk tank body fat test.

Back from my Google journey. It looks interesting and makes sense, but I can't find anyone who does it in my area. Will keep looking.

I've been JUDDDing for over a year now but reached goal in a little over 8 months. I lost my last 20 lbs on JUDDD, which was such a miracle to me because no matter what type of diet I did, with or without exercise, regardless of what I ate, even extremely low carb combined with keeping steady low calories every day, I inevitably would stall and thought I was doomed to be 20lbs overweight for the rest of my life.

Well, JUDDD fixed that and got me to goal for the first time in my life. It also taught me a lot about my body and healed some unhealthy mental aspects I had with food and eating. It's also the only woe I've tried that successfully showed me how to maintain properly. There just isn't enough praise I could sing about JUDDD.

Vilanteira, I've had the same experience as you. JUDDD has been a miracle for me. No matter what I did before, I couldn't shed the last 10 pounds (on my frame, that's similar to 20 pounds for an average height female). I, too, thought I was destined to be 10-15 pounds overweight. JUDDD has changed that for me.

I've been JUDDDing for 2.5 months, have lost that pesky last 10 pounds.

Any day the scale doesn't go up is a happy day for me. No matter what I did before, the scale creep was constant. Now, I just stick to the rotations and the weight melts off like magic. JUDDD seems like a crazy fad diet; I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. I plan to continue with JUDDD unless it doesn't work any longer for me.

I'm thinner now that I was in high school - on the drill team, worked out four hours per day and ate only meal per day. We weighed weekly - I was on average, at least three pounds heavier than I am now - post menopausal and less active. I'm pretty sure I consume more calories than I did in high school.

I don't understand the biochemistry of it - is it hormonal, metabolism effects, or? Whatever, it works for me, here is one happy camper JUDDD BUDDD!!!

My is that this WOE will work for anybody that has the will to work the program. It can be difficult at times, but the discomfort is way offset by the results, imho.

Love this forum, have been so inspired by all the encouragement and success stories

Luv2Eat, I am definitely counting my blessings for discovering JUDDD! Somehow the sirtuins along with the ups and downs of the calorie cycling or the IF aspects of JUDDD (I don't really know) just made it happen for me when nothing else worked and I'm so glad it did for you as well.

8 months in and over 50 pound lost on JUDDD. First 10 were on Atkins.
JUDDD is a blessing an a true joy. It is after 8pm and I have fasted completely since last night- just half a cup of tea at 6:30pm.

I am NOT EVEN HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a great deal of extra skin, too. Mostly my arms, thighs and stomach. I wanted to get back to 112, but that may be too thin at this point in my life. I'll re-evaluate at 120lbs. Right now I'm have a blast with losing weight and living life.

I can't imagine the fun that maintenace will bring!

Oh, Carly, that brings tears to my eyes. When you're short like us, being overweight adds insult to injury. So happy you're getting to a proportional size

I don't have a darned thing to add since I'm just starting my first down day tomorrow, but thank you all for sharing your stories. (and huge congrats to you all! Sounds like you're all doing fabulous!!) I am so happy to hear about people being close to goal or at goal and feeling like they're able to maintain well with this WOE. I can lose pretty well, but I am absolutely horrible at maintaining. It has never worked yet. Hope this is it!

Yes, serious insult to injury, not nearly as much space to spread the fat around when you are vertically challenged!
