Good to be home! Ready to dig in.....

Hi JUDD BUDDS!

I have missed you all. I didn't take my lap top with me so, man, I've got a lot of catching up on email and with my BUDDS!

For those of you who don't know, I've been on a 6 week whirlwind of travel. It started in South Lake Tahoe, next week was Hawaii, then Seattle, Florida, Monterey Bay and finally San Diego/Oceanside, CA. On the few weekends I was home I either visited my kids and grandkids or the grandies stayed with me.

I don't know how to act now that I'm home! Seems permanent vacation mode likes me. Ha!!

Laundry? Cooking? House work? What's that?????

My M.O. seems to be "add on some lbs while away; knuckle down and lose them when I get back".

The scale is up. The waist on my size 12 dress pants is tight. Time to dive into a good DD and get the rotations rolling.

I'm looking forward to reading posts and catching up!

Hugs to all!

Thanks BUDDS! I feel the love!

I was down 3 pounds yesterday morning but bounced up 1 pound today after an UD that included pizza late in the day.

Hoping to see a few more #s fly away by tomorrow.

I'm sure all those wonderful sirtuins stopped building up in my body because of very few DDs these last 6 weeks.

Time to get revved back up.

I'm feeling anxious about the upcoming holidays and hoping I don't go overboard when I need to stay on track.

Today needs to be a really low cal DD and the rest of this week needs to be managed well. I have a luncheon to attend on Wednesday and I'm wishing I didn't have to go but I should. I'll just have to plan really well because I want to stick to my rotations and it will be a DD.

Thanks for all the welcomes. It is definitely good to be "home" on the JUDD forum.

I'm definitely working on a good DD today to hopefully get the sirts rollin and flowin again! I was just thinking about all the good times I had in so many different places. The thought came that I had all that time off and really, compared to where I'd be if I had just been low carbing it and took off that much time, I'm not doing so bad.

The day I got back I was exactly 10 pounds up. 10 pounds in six weeks? hmmmm...instead of beating myself up, I am thinking it could have been much worse. After one really good DD the scale went down 3 pounds. Then after yesterday's UD which included REAL pizza late in the day, it bounced back up 1 pound.

The pizza seems to have energized me! I don't feel guilty about it at all. That's what I love about JUDD. NO GUILT! It's almost lunch time and honestly, I'm not even hungry yet. I can hardly believe it.

Maybe those little sirtuin guys (scrubbing bubbles) are starting to come back already. Scrub that fat away you busy little enzymes!!!

There's got to be some water weight in that 10lbs as well, so I really think you'll get it off with some good rotations, and as you're seeing, those sirtuin scrubbing bubbles are scrubbing the fat away already! The lack of guilt is a huge thing. With health and weight loss, mental attitude is key and will keep us going. JUDDD is such a good tool for us to have.

Funny scrubbing bubbles! Hope they work really fast.

We, unfortunately, will not be out in November. I have therapy at least three times a week for a while. Tomorrow the stitches come out of the hand. I'm able to use it a bit more so that is really good. Still can't make a fist, though and that is the goal.

I'm just about to the goal weight I posted a long time ago, even before trying JUDDD. I think I'll lower it now as I think it is possible to get lower. I would not have even thought that if I had not found JUDDD. I'm lower than I thought I could be at my age without starving.

Hugs

Wowzers, my Hawaii Friend! Eating out at Chuck's every night really agrees with you! You looked great and THIN when I saw you in October. Don't disappear, ok?

Praying for that fist making to come soon. Are the surgeries now complete? How is your leg? How is all of the rest of you? Feeling perky? Oh, and how's the weather?

You made a good decision to not come here in November. Yikes! I'm freezing. Brrrrrrr. It's been in the low 50's for a couple of days. I keep the fireplace going all day and am sleeping with 2 blankets and a down comforter. DH sweats at night because he's not as cold as I am. He won't let me turn on the little fireplace/heater in the bedroom.

I missed you too! I'm workin' it and it's working! Two great DD rotations and I'm already down 5.5 pounds. Plus down 1 inch on my waist and 1.5 inch from my hips! This will be my 3rd DD today since getting back and I'm hoping for another drop tomorrow which should (finger's crossed) get me back to where I was at before all the crazy traveling.

I have to go to a retirement luncheon today for DH's co-worker, but I'm planning on iced tea and salad with grilled chicken on it. That's it! Yay for DDs. Who ever knew we would be saying such a thing?

Not sure you really want to know how nIce the weather is here!!

Still have to have more surgery on the elbow. He said he would do that in 3 months or so. He wants the hand recovered first. He took all of the stitches out yesterday so some more pain is gone. Yay!

The leg is fine as well as the rest of me. I'm back doing lots of things again. I hope to start swimming next week again.

Congrats on losing the travel weight. Has to be the best way of eating out there!

My original WW weight when I did it years ago was 155. It was raised when I got older. I think I can get back to the 155 and try to maintain around there. I have been lower, but that is hard to maintain. I don't want to make this unpleasant!

Have a great JUDDD day JUDDD BUDDDs......

I'm sure it will feel great to get back to the swimming.

Go ahead. Make me feel jealous about the weather! It was 37 degrees here this morning and I kept the fireplace going most of the day. I'm not going to want to see my oil bill.

It's kind of a shock after being in San Diego last week where it was hot and of course Florida before that where it was hot-hot plus humid. Even Monterey was warm and sunny.

It will take me a bit more time to adapt.
