My son started doing JUDDD with me(he is 21) and he stayed between 600-700 calories on the first week and lost very well, by the 2nd week, or maybe 10 days into it, he was ok with 500-550 calories, maybe you could give that a try?6-700 right now, then cut back when you can?

I've been doing some studying since I posted this morning and did just that Carly. It gave me a range of 510 to 2040 if I work out 3-5 times a week. So a little bit more room to relax on UD if I need to, so I can enjoy time with DH on the weekends. Also incentive to keep up with my workouts. I'd hate to have to cut below 500

Hey JMBM Great luck to you as well. I was a bit hungry mid-morning, but not too bad. I've been reading the DD meal suggestions and have a background with HCG and the 500 calories protocol there, so I'm feeling this is real doable. Not sure if I'll weigh tomorrow or just wait until Saturday. What's your plan?

A question for who have been “there done that”: Looking at the logistics, it would be a real doable schedule to do this Monday, Wednesday & Friday each week and have the weekends off, but that would be two UDs in a row. What are your thoughts on that?

That was my mainenance plan, but I have slowly started to gain, so I will go back to every other day rotations for a while and maybe try again in a month or 2.

Well that sort of answered by question on the other thread too So maybe maintenance but not so much for loss then.

I intend to weigh once a week. I think if I weigh everyday then could possibly get discouraged if my weight goes up after an up day. I think it will give me a better gauge. I too thought of the 2 UD's on the weekend, but after reading others comments on sticking to rotation I think I am going to try that. Another member says the actual JUDDD books says the 2 UD's is fine, but I'm going to try this for starters. May do it the other way once I reach my goal.

If you exercise every day like you say, 3 DD's a week would probably work well for you. It won't hurt anything to try it and then add another DD if you aren't satisfied with your results. Oh! and Welcome!

You both make great points. I think I'll target rotations to start with and use the 2 UD option to accommodate a life.

I appreciate the open minded approach here!

Well just ate my last meal. Feeling pretty full actually. Ended with 440 for my first DD. I've already been thinking about what I want to eat tomorrow. I ordered a box of carbquik should be here Wednesday. I'm going to make pancakes for my next UD breakfast!

Hey Berta, I will let you know. I hope I get it by my next up day. My mom made some lowcarb peanut butter cookies that were sooooo good. She says it comes with a lot of LC recipes. Anxiously awaiting for it to arrive. I'm not sure I got the instructions for how to make multiple responses like to told me. Once you get past step one I have a tendency to get lost. lol I'm a hands on learner and really helps if someone shows me first, or may just have to keep trying til I get it right. I just hate to attempt something and then it throw a bunch of messages on everyones post that leaves them scratching their heads thinking what's she talking about?? Maybe I'll get the hang of it eventually.

This is so funny. It seems like the only thread I can remember I posted/commented on is this one. lol Anyone else have this issue? Almost don't want to get on another thread due to being unable to remember where I posted. I guess I may have to keep a little notepad by my keyboard.

I know what you mean, I feel lighter too!! I ended up with 515. Not starving really, just a little physically shocked due to the lack of calories. Then I realized I wasn't any hungrier then the first day of HCG. Hmmmmmmmm

For multiple responses hit the " button at the bottom of the post you want to respond to until you get to the last one and then hit the quote button. Then just put your curser in between the [/QUOTE]s to respond and you're good to go.

Multi quote button or quick reply button at the bottom of each quote you want to respond to? There's Quote, multi-quote, and quick reply. I've just been hitting quote to whoever's post i want to respond to.

Thank you I have changed my WLM starting tomorrow to 25% and my DD will be 594 and UD 2376.HOWEVER... I am going to eat as low as I can but then when I go over (if I do) I won't need to feel bad about it.
I just hate that guilty feeling!
It isn't that I WANT to eat alot, I just do not feel satisfied with that low amount on DD.What I DO WANT is to loose this weight and get use to eating less and feeling satisfied or full, not stuffed but at least full.

Thanks I have thought of buying it but so many of the LC items are so nasty.I haven't. I have never really went LC but I did do RXHCG for almost a year(this April) But that got to be so restrictive I wasn't sticking with it either!

The little black hypen(quotation marks) like thingy by the quote on each post is the one you click on 1st on each post you want to respond to.Then click on one quote! Play around with it, you'll get it!If I did anyone can!

Berta, it took me a good 5 weeks for me to be ok with DD calories of 500 or less. Yesterday i had 440, but my calculated number is only 320. It does take some time getting used too(at least for most, some are pretty good with it right away) I want to really try to stay as low as i can on DDs( 500 or less) . It was a struggle, especially at bed time. The only thing that really saved e was the hot tea, which I made my "treat" before bed. And there are so many different flavors and types. I actually became excited for my nightly tea. lol

I stayed the same today( yesterday under 923 calories form WLM) so actually tomorrow is when I should weigh. So we will see then how I do!
I love tea and have a cabinet full of them.
I have Bigelow Constant Comment,True blueberry, Peach, Rasberry, Green tea, Reg tea, Chocolate mint, and I dont remember what others right now

My trouble is night time and it is mind hunger ONLY!!!! So I have to get my mind into subjection.I am not giving up.I am going to continue trying and I need to eat my veggies.I am really bad about that. I am thinking if I get the cucumbers and carrots out at night would be good and still give me that crunhy, munchy feeling
I am going do this, I am going to do this, I am going to do this.I AM GOING TO DO THIS

DD today. It is 1:00 and I haven't eaten anything yet.Drinking my tea and water so far. May have a cup or two of chicken broth in a bit. It only has 5 cal to a cup. and very, very good!
Then I will eat a good LCal LCarb supper. I think it will be a chef salad with lean ham(95% lean) boiled egg, grape tomatoes & celery maybe a cut up baby carrot or two? I have some FF Rasberry dressing I like alot.
Then TV time I will have SF popcicle at 30cal each. That should give me pretty low calorie DDI think I'll put it in the recipe calculator first to see how many there actually are.

If you go to the user control panel it will show you the threads you have posted to.

If you click the " (quotation) button on the lower right for each statement you want to include and then click post reply (not quick reply) all your quotes will come in one post and you can reply to each quote. HTH.

Morning JUDDD Buds
Well I had a 444 calorie day yesterday on my DD.So I am happy I did it.BUT only a .4 loss this morning

Boy did I get spoiled on RXHCG weight losses. But I did not maintain so what was the point if I was going to gain it all back right? So anyway I am still learning this WOE.I am changing my food choices from snackies to healthy eating. I guess when I heard nothing was off limits on this plan my brain said WOW and I bought up all the 100 cal foods I found(well almost) and quit cooking and was using Lean Cuisines etc. But now I have decided to start cooking again.Much more healthy and even tastes better

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

WELCOME HOME Cindy.I hope you had a wonderful time!

Well first UD went okay, I ate more then I intended but not really surprised. I was stuffed yesterday from a big breakfast, so I didn’t have lunch until 3:30. I went ahead and ate although I probably would have been fine not, because I had an appointment after work. Then my DH wanted KFC for dinner. I had a skinless thigh and potato wedges and then proceeded to help him devourer the chocolate cake. Felt terrible, didn’t sleep well (too much sugar) and was very discussed with myself. Got up this morning, realized it was only about 2-1/2 servings, could have been worse, I did a good work out and hopefully my DD today will make it a distant memory. And really I’m following the plan so all is good. I was a little worried it would be hard to go back to DDs, but so far not an issue.
