tex! I've heard some JB's (JUDDD BUDS) mention ketosis as well. I cannot verify it because I've never done the strips, but it's been said that fasting can also bring on ketosis, without eating LC. I may have to purchase some strips. ![]() |

Really? That would be a wonderful thing. From so many years of LC WOE, I've managed to stop the pain of my arthritis and control lots of other health issues, but I stopped losing weight altogether. Maybe it will be possible to start to lose again and not have the pains come back. Thank you.

As a lurking newbie...500 calories on DD I can do, but not sure I will be able to eat all of what you need to for up days. Any thoughts on this?

Yes it is correct, tsk. I didn't count UD's at first, but have started doing so. You'd be surprised at how easily you can go over the allotment of calories. I think meeting or comining in a couple hundred below is preferable to going over. Most people find that they have no problem eating all of their UD cals after a brief period of time JUDDDing. Then it becomes difficult not to eat too much!
ETA: I have found a confection that I adore at a particular shop, and it's right over 500 calories! I also like heavy cream in my coffee...pair that with a rib eye steak for dinner and a baked potato with the fixings, and you're lucky not to go over! ![]()

Hi. I am 2 days out of P2 HCG. I looked at doing P3, but JUDDD makes so much more sense. Looked at my UD (1790 cal) and DD(537) and its doable. Ive been so hungry the last few days. I will do HCG again, but I need food! Lost 15lbs on HCG in 26 days)

I find no option to set a signature for my posts, but I see that others have signatures. Can anybody direct me to the right place? I've looked up and down the entire "profile" area.

I guess it was set at 30% weight loss mode. I guess I want 20%, right? So, my numbers are: DD 358 UP 1790.
Do I want 20% or 30%? My DD seemed kinda low. Im kinda confused because on his page, it says to eat no more than 500 calories on DD for induction days, and arent those the hardest days? 358 would be really hard I think. I guess I can eat soup, but not sure how Im going to make out if trying to follow Phase3 (no sugar no starch )rules Am I looking at this wrong? |

Thanks Dawn. I will do 500 calories at first and see how my weight loss goes. If I am gaining, I will drop it to the calculated calories.

HI everyone
I have been slacking a lot lately. been working out and it is killing me to be so low on down days. the plus side is no weight gain even though I have been over eating. I am going back to juddd without cheats and changing my workout routine to adjust for dd. I was thinking about not exercising on dd but I seem to sleep all night when I work out. otherwise I am up and down all night. my sleep cycle has me up at 5 am even when I don't work. so to sleep with out waking up until 5am is heaven. seen drop in inches but not weight but I ill take it. hope everyone is doing well. spring is almost here! |

Sounds as if you are on the right path, but I don't see the problem with exercise of DDs. I have always exercised on a DD and find it great as I am well nourished from the day before. There is also a lot of evidence to show that exercising on a fasted body is better for us. Not if you are training for an Iron Man though . |

Jazzy, I was on hcg myself. I think JUDDD is a great way to transition. However, your goal for Phase 3 is not weight loss! During this phase you need to learn the art of maintenance. This is really important. I would say I learned a lot and for the first time in my life I've actually maintained my WL. You should look at the calories for maintenance instead on the calculator. You will do amazing, I just know it!

SO, JUDDD can't hurt! I will try to remain LC as much as possible...obviously higher carb count as I add in greek yogurt and more veggies on dd's! I am utterly confused as I have read most of the boards last night (up till 5 am! ) So forgive me if you see stupid questions along the way on here! My stats are basically 2414/483 according to the calculator. I am 43, 5'9" and as of this morning 284.8. UGH WHY did i ever gain 100lbs back?!? ![]() Have a great sunday! I have still got to eat 1,000 cals today and I AM FULL! lol remind me of this tomorrow when I am whining about wanting more food! lol |

Ok, so plugged in my numbers for 40% weight loss/maintenance and DD is 713 and UD is 1783. Im worried about gaining weight. Should I still do just the HCG P3 allowed foods?
Thanks Granny for your input/advice and Jeanette too |

or should I do whatever foods to get my calories that high? HCG says to avoid starches and sugars, but not sure if I should just do JUDDD or do the rules

Pibble. Sorry but I can't help with HCG queries. Never done it.I am always amazed that people don't think they can eat up to their UD calories. It is so easy to add something delicious and high density. Or even a glass of wine. And yet somehow we most of us became overweight... ![]() |

Loving JUDDD
Hi friends,
I am new to JUDDDing, having started with the program on Jan 24, 13. I am finding it to be pretty easy to follow so far. What I am finding that works best for me is to not eat on my DD until I have reached the 18hr point. I only have liquids until then. My morning coffee does include some half and half; hopefully that won't create an issue. May I say that I am so impressed by all of your successes and it is extremely motivating to see people who like me, are menopausal, hypothyroid with lots of weight to lose be successful with this! Thank you all for your courage, your support and your helpfulness. You truly are an amazing group and I am so thankful for this board in general and this group specifically. Frankly, you rock! ![]() I have fought the obesity all of my life. My medical records as a two year old show that I needed to lose weight! I became hypothyroid as an 8 year old; my current doctors won't let me use natural products and I am stuck with just having Levoxyl to control it. GRRRRRRR ![]() I developed asthma at 13 and my precriptions to control it cost $250 per month. After two weeks on JUDDD....my asthma symptoms have essentially all but DISAPPEARED! Even if weight loss didn't occur, this one amazing benefit would be worth it alone! I look forward to interacting more with all of you. Know that I appreciate each of your input and advice. May you each be blessed with health and happiness in your journey! Kim |
