Thank you again Carly
I will just have to see what works for me.As long I can loose and eat some of what I want I will be a very happy camper.

I have been stalking these forums worried about telling BF about yet another attempt at Atkins and restricting our carb intake in the house but I think I might have just found something that could work for us both! He is as thin as a rail and me well not so much but I hate trying to change his lifestyle and eating habits because of me struggling with my weight. I am a bit confused on how you determine your calorie intake on each day. On the DD do you restrict the time frame you eat as well? I have read so many threads that I am just not sure. Thanks in advance for all the helpful tips!

Hello Judders
Today is my first DD and so far so good. I will report later how I did.
I went shopping today and it sems so strange as I purchaed RF items where as before they were full fat products. There were a few things that were RF I put back because of th sugar content. But for the most part RF was what I bought. Most of the items were for DD.

I was up to 248 this morning so that is my beginning wt. I plan on weighing on Sunday mornings after my Sat DD.
The first 2 weeks of JUDDDD is called the induction phase. What is different after those 2 weeks?

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Thanks Berta how do you determine which % you want to use when calculating? I assumed 35% (being loss a lot of weight) but the calories are higher than expected. What does the % mean?

Never mind I was reading it wrong I see where 20% is the amount of what you normally would take in so less is more.

I am thinking the less % the more you loose. So I went with 20% weight loss mode. That is suppose to get me 2lbs a week off.
my DD cal is only 417 but UD are 2072 so I am praying I can do it.417 isn't muchBut I keep remembering tomorrow will be better

I feel the very same as you do. DH hated my being on HCG as he had to nearly fix his own things. But now I can have anything I want so he can eat again. His sitting there at night eating stuff was really, really hard for me.

Yes my 20% is 409 so thinking if I can stay below 500 then I am doing good. Atleast until I get the hang of it and figure out what works best for me. Atkins I missed fruits so much and that is what really makes me feel full plus popcorn too so I am hoping I can put together something simple to eat on the DD that makes the transition easy. I alwasy enjoy a good salad with a little protein so this sounds and feels doable for both me and him. Yes BF does all of our cooking and when he would prepare something I would be like Oh, I can't have that can we do something different? I just don't feel like he should change his lifestyle to help me fix mine.

I understand.
When I was on HCG I loved taking 3.5 oz's lean beef and adding taco seasoning and eating it on lettuce with salsa and a bit of sour cream and it was soooooo good. You might want to try that on DD.

What do you use to keep track of your calories? I use Spark People it's free and I really like it.

3.5oz of baked chicken skin removed ,OR lean beef, and cabbage or a tomato wth an apple or an orage or about 10 strawberries is under 500. cal

Ive just started using my net diary and seems to track very well. I just need to get my DD figured out before I jump in. Thanks for the suggestions Berta its been so long since I've done calories I need to reprogram my brain.

Me too. I hate tracking but it is necessary. I do it just as soon as I eat something. I went over on my first day I was suppose to have 417 and It added up to 421.But it's still under 500 so hopefully I am ok

You should EAT! I think the weightloss is sometimes slower for those coming off HCG. Not sure.

You may want to search threads from other JUDDD Buds who came from HCG. That is a really strict and limitted diet. I truly don't know if their rate of loss is any different however. That being said, I have bounced up 2+ pounds after a DD, so .4 is nothing.

The daily bounce doesn't rock my world (anymore)

Thanks Carly
I know I can't depend on daily wts.As we were to weigh daily on HCG. I am going to weigh every Tues morning after my Mon DD.So we will see what that brings.I also know my loses wil lbe alot slower on JUDDD. But at least I can eat real food and mix veggies. My salad last night was so good.I had very lean 95% cubed ham 3oz and celery, tomatoe on 2cups of shredded lettuce and WF(Walden Farms) Rasberry dressing. It was so yummy

Well, I'll be the first one to say that when it comes to food choices nothing beats JUDDD. I haven't felt deprived for a moment on this plan.

I don't see how one could feel deprived when being allowed to have anything they choose.
I am finding already that my choices are going to have to change from that on HCG though My first UD and I went over about 200 calories
I need to figure out what I am going to eat before I eat it. I was shocked to find the 3 pieces of pizza I ate was 900 cal. That's 300cal a pieceSo that means no popcorn for me tonight.

All I can do now is go on. O HUM another challenge
