Good morning! I'm working out of town today, so that means I get to eat lunch out.....and possibly dinner. Whew, good thing I'm on an UD--however, it's waaaay too easy to go over my calories when eating anywhere other than home!

Part of my day includes volunteering for packing meals for Feed my Starving Children, so it will be a rewarding start to the month.

Good morning! I'm gearing up again for some strict rotations. I was very loose for the past two months and gained 4 lbs! uggggg.

Also will be doing Nanowrimo so hopefully a very focused month!

I'm dating myself, but I saw Bon Jovi in Copenhagen (I think it was Christmas eve, or somewhere around there) in 1989! It was cute ~ Jon Bon Jovi said Merry Christmas in Danish and it sounded really weird!

Good morning all! I'm starting off Nov on a DD with 5 lbs to go! I can't believe I'm losing weight on a diet that I love.
Both my daughter and daughter-in-law are starting JUDDD today. How great to have family doing this with me!

Re-evaluating final weight goal

I've been thinking a lot about my ultimate weight goal lately . My ideal weight (in my head) has been 120 for a long time, but I haven't seen that since probably high school. The last time I lost, and got down to a size 6, was 10 years ago, and I was about 135, I think.

Now I'm 10 years older, looking at menopause in the next several years, and I want to look great and be healthy. Not over-thin just to get to a number on the scale. I don't want my face to look older than I am. You know, too thin and wrinkly.

So......I'm changing my goal weight from 120 to 140. That's within the healthy weight range for my height. When I get there, I'll see if I want to shoot for another 10 or 20 pounds.

This was a hard decision for me, but I feel relieved having made it. I can't wait to get closer and closer!

I think that's an awesome idea. I personally lowered my goal only because I never thought I'd get close to it. I'm 4 pounds from my original goal. I now want to get to 160, which is more in the middle of my healthy weight range, but I have no desire to be "skinny." I also don't want to look older than my age, and that's a real possibility if I lose too much. I think it's great that you're willing to adjust as you get closer instead of having that "I have to get to such-and-such number on the scale" mentality.

Personally, I've never seen 135 but I came close about 12 years ago when I got within spittin distance of it...and I had 120'ish as my goal .. I'm probably lookin at menopause in a few years too I settled on 140 and I'm an inch shorter than you.. I figured I could adjust as time goes on...heck at this point, I'll be doing cart-wheels in the aisles when I get to 199!

Hey everyone,
I'm in for the month too. I've had such support & inspiration from the JUDDD BUDDDs I want to dive a bit deeper. Pretty much how I feel about this WOE too. I've been diligent w my DDs but have never counted my UDs. I notice the major WL seems to come for the counters so I reckon it's on my horizon. November looks like a reasonably quiet month so... Bring it on
