DD Wednesday - Happy Halloween!
I haven't a clue why I'm up so late (well, I have a clue, but I'm ignoring it).
My plan for today's DD is to do the eat-every-2hrs-thing that Pat/SoHappy and Ouizoid seem to have a lot of success with. The foods will be: 2 hb eggs, 1T lite mayo, 3 kavli superthin crackers-- that's for about 4 meals then broccoli slaw stir fried with some chicken (if I can find it...may have to go out)-- that's for 2 meals almond milk 1c as a snack before bed. should come to about 502 cal and 25g net. In between, there will be black tea, water, and maybe I'll get my vitamins in.

You are up late! Looks like a good DD you have planned. I haven't planned mine yet. Today was my UD & I was hungry all day!!! Arghhh!!! But, I didn't go over calories..........I'm going to bed before I screw that up!
![]() Thank goodness we don't buy candy for Halloween! So, I don't have that to contend with. We live in the country & in the 18 years we've been here, no one has ever come to "trick or treat" us. But, Happy Halloween y'all! Shari |

oh my so yesterday I went over my UD by 1000 calories!!!!!
-- Everything was fine until my little cousins came over with chocolate covered nuts .. well one nut turned into many nuts ...and more chocolate and bread etc etc.So I woke up this morning feeling bloated and full. ![]() I plan to eat nothing today except tea, coffee, diet pop and gum. So maybe have an 100 calorie DD. I hope it balances out! Heres to a successful DD! |

Trying the Barbie meals today.
I've got zucchini, coleslaw, eggs, cucumber, lettuce and vinegar, tuna, and broccoli on hand. I'll measure and calculate after my walk with doggo this morning. This is the complete antithesis of my regular approach but I'm finding rotations tough lately (busy life) and would like to try something new. ![]() |

Still in hurricane havoc - not sure what I can find or eat - no power, lights or cooking at home. Yesterday we ate every brownie, cake and pie in the freezer I think -ugh. Just going to get through this day with minimum damage. I am hoping for a MD.

Barbie meals! Love the name. This is my 2nd dd doing it this way and yesterday I didn't feel any dread when thinking about today's dd. I'm actually excited to have a Barbie day!
I'll be running back and forth to the school for the parade and Halloween party so I already have a baggie in the fridge with 1/2 slices of bacon already cooked. I also plan on blueberries, egg whites, lunch meat and laughing cow cheese wedges. |

it's very small meals (like, bites) spread regularly thoughout the day, say every 1hr or 2hrs, rather than 3 meals or one big meal on a DD.
I'm going to try for every 2hrs... I'd better get on it, the first on is in 20 min and I haven't made the egg salad yet. |

Hello and Happy Halloween! I've decided to "treat" myself today by coming back to JUDDD! I've been gone for a long time.
DD today B-protein heavy egg cream (4 egg whites plus 1 whole egg)-122 L-planning on none. Maybe celery and some LC cheese if I get hungry? Supper-broiled salmon marinated in soy sauce on a 1/4 cup brown rice-176 298 total if I don't eat celery and cheese. Or Halloween candy! |

Well I am planning to go over my dd calories today but I feel fine with it since I have planned it
![]() Will fast until tonight when I will be with my family and then have chili and wine ![]() Maybe I will be lucky and chili will be magical like it is for Dawn ![]() My first down day was the 23rd and down 6.8 pounds as of today so really hate to blow it but life is short. Didn't want to change rotation b/c my friend is doing this too and like to be on the same rotation. Good luck to all....this place ROCKS ![]()

I'm having trouble deciding this morning. I want to keep it low cal & high fat. I'll aim for this and maybe will change it up during the day.
B: Coffee w/HWC & sweetener L: Chicken broth D: 3 slices bacon and 1 oz cream cheese I've decided not to have any Halloween candy, at least not today. I'd like to not have any left so I don't have any on any day. I hate to waste calories and treats on low quality candy (not that I don't LOVE Milky Ways and Reese's PB cups!). I'd rather make a point of having a treat that is really good quality and satisfying. We'll see how that strategy works out.

Yesterday on my UD, we went to a Japanese place and I had a LOT of good foods. I'm sure I went over..so today after sleeping in some (woot) I am going to try to eat as little as possible.
B-Slept through it l-Coffee and water D-maybe some egg whites so I don't go crazy and eat all the candy! LOL Tomorrow I am looking forward to diving into the leftovers! |

So, this eating every 2hrs thing is going well so far-- now we're entering the real test zone-- 3pm-9pm.
I saved one of the egg salad/crackers for 4pm (a bigger one). Then I'll cook "dinner" at 6pm, and have some at 6 or so and some at 8 (we'll see, with the kids coming by, when this happens). Then almond milk before bed. I'm not "starving" at all. And my vitamins didn't upset my stomach. I"m drinking more water so I'm peeing like CRAZY (tmi? sorry )I sort of want to eat, but it feels totally mental, and I can get over it (hence, more water). So far, barbie-meals-test is going well |

Interesting that you brought that up, Soren. If I don't have enough on my stomach when I take my vitamins/supplements, I get really nauseated about 15 - 30 minutes later. The first couple of times I actually ran to the bathroom in case I actually , it felt that bad. Now I know what it is and that it'll pass w/o me actually being sick, but it's unpleasant. I've been having trouble getting my vitamins in on DDs because of this. ![]() |

Yes, thanks Ouiz! May have to try those. It'll remind me of the yabba-dabba-doo chewable Flintstones vitamins of my youth.
Soren, before I forget - have a wonderful vacation! |
