2 month report
Month 1... lost 9 lbs, including bloat. Month 2... lost 4.6... total 13.6, avg 1.5 per week
My waist is down 3.5 inches ![]() What is awesome is that in the latest month I had our Canadian Thanksgiving (with pie etc., visitors, leftovers), and a getaway to a B and B, and at least 2 or 3 restaurant meals... and one UUAAD ![]() , and still lost about a lb. a week! I have stuck to my 600 cal DDs, and never blown one (yet!)... they are still not easy, I have some hours of Dang.I.Am.Dang.Hongry each one... but doable. The whole "hang in there, you can eat tomorrow" really helps. Now sometimes I eat a bit too much junk on UDs (calorically ok, just not nutritious), but I don't sweat that too much. I have had several UDs on which I did not count at all, esp. with restaurant or party meals, but just was conscious not to overeat (a skill I want to practice lots for eventual maintenance... eating til full, not overfull). and fyi, because I have super-intense exercise on MWF (teaching spin), I fix those as UD, and then Tues/Thurs/Sun as DD, and Sat as MD (with some flex to swap Fri and Sat re social events)... I wonder if my loss would have been higher with true alternating days, but doesn't fit with my lifestyle, and I am fine with my loss rate. Bring on Month 3... 2 months to Xmas, I hope to drop another 7-9 lbs. Hang in there newbies!!!!!

thanks everyone! it is so nice to have your support
![]() I really do feel hopeful, for the first time in about 4 years, that I will get back to goal weight, will get back into my lovely clothes (and perchance get a few new ones). And this hope is quite priceless to my ongoing engagement... I know from failed attempts at low-mod cal every day, and low-carb/paleo eating that when (a) I can't stick to something, and/or (b) it doesn't freekin *work* (well especially the AND vicious circle between (a) and (b) ), that hope is lost, and with it, effort, and with that, results. wootwoot! |

Tooraloora I am so happy to read about your success.
Thanks for posting this it is so good for Newbies to read about successes like this, and the fact that you are doing it your way is important too. Although I always suggest people stick to regular rotations, it is great to know the JUDDD works this way too. You are going to reach your goal for sure, and I for one will be here to help you celebrate. |
