Question for JUDDD Buds
Hello again friends!
I hope you are having a beautiful day. It's nice and wintry like in San Jose, California and I love it. My question to those who have been JUDDDing for a while is: Is it normal for me to be losing a pound a day on DD and UP? I recently started to follow the numbers provided by Dr. Johnson on his website, hitting below my DD of 373 (usually less) and getting close or on the nose at 1700 on UD. Been doing exactly what Dr. Johnson said for about 5 days straight now so I've seen a lose of 5 lbs. Not that I am complaining just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. As i know people say a pound a week is a healthy way to lose. Do any of you think I should reassess my numbers? Thanks for your help in advance. I think you're doing great! I wouldn't worry about the quick loss. It will definitely slow down, probably sooner than you want it to. Enjoy it while it lasts. You're pretty close to goal, so you may be one of the lucky ones who actually needs to eat MORE than the calculator gives for maintenance.
I wouldn't change a thing though until you get there. |

Thanks Steph. I sure well. I was just concerned with the rapid weight lossing. And wondering if it was a) unhealthy and/or b) not fat
Dawn, the weather here in San Jose is very very wet. |

Thank you all. This WOE seems too good to be true, but I am running with it. Still losing pretty consistently on a daily basis right now. I am not trying to mess with the magic. Even able to get through my TOM last week with no problems on DD's. I definitely can stick with this plan. Wishing everyone some JUDDD magic. Have a beautiful day!

Happy Friday. So you all were right. I did stop losing a pound a day as of yesterday, but i am down .4 I guess my body was just really excited about all the delicious choices i could have. Still trying to do JUDDD/LC but am okay with losing slowly and eating some carbs now and then. I do really feel like this WOE is a less stressful and definitely less depriving than most.

I lost 9 lbs my first month on JUDDD... about 5 in the first week... which I put down to bloat, water, and some fat. Since that first week I have been losing about a lb. a week... and from past experience, that may slow down as I get closer and closer to goal (now 20 lbs away... and the last 10 lbs is more vanity than anything else, so it may be really hard won!).
hang in there, and best wishes for this to work its magic longterm for you! |

and enjoy! There are times when the weight flies off and then times it slows down. For me that is directly connected to TOM, which is about to hit me. I lose like gangbusters for the first 2 weeks after TOM and then begin to slow down to a crawl and then breif halt. Once TOM passes I'm off to the races again. JUDDD is awesome and amazingly freeing. |
