...to get through the day, as always.
I am always hungry, even after over 9 months, feel headachey and sleeples.
However, I ALWAYS stick to my calories, as close to 341 as I can, almost never over 400.

But the REALLY odd thing is, I am never all that hungry when the UD starts. But if I start grazing, uh oh...

I found Kikkoman miso soup, which was suggested on this board, for 35 cals, and it's pretty satisfying. I will be having a salad with some protein for lunch, and not sure about supper. Maybe shrimp.

I still haven't found a way to feel full; would love to try the eating every hour thing, but it's kinda hard at work...

D - Can of chicken soup....hopefully can get away with just that and call it a night.

Scotty-- I found that having some fat in the morning, then again later in the day, leaves me feeling pretty ok until dinner (but I'm one who likes to try to save the calories for a bigger dinner). Even though I don't usually do caffeine, I do some in the morning on DDs, to feel warmer and more mentally alert. For me, just 1 black tea will do it. Maybe some things to try? I heard the eating every hour thing can work at work, just bring everything pre-made in baggies/boxes, and nibble here and there.

me, today:
b: black tea, skipping the butter b/c...
L: I'm going to have lunch with a colleague for his Bday. He wanted mexican, so I figured a veggie salad, with grilled veggies and some salsas, for 70 cal, takes the place of my beloved salted butter

D: I think I'll do a roast loin of pork when I get home. I can have about 7-8oz, and a salad, and be right on track.

S.

Total: 438

I hope I can stick to this. Trying the high fat DD again, because it was really working for me before TOM came along. I'm a little worried that the smaller amount of protein than I'm used to won't satisfy me. But if I need to go all the way to 500 calories, I can.

10:00 am = 1 cup of masala tea with 1 tsp butter and 1/2 tsp coconut manna + stevia 50 cal (not the best)

11:00 am = 1 cup of black tea with 1 tsp butter and 1/2 tsp coconut oil + stevia 50 cal (pretty good, very filling)

12:30 am = 1 cup of green tea with 1 1/2 tsp butter + stevia 50 cal (yummy like warm milk)

1:00 pm = 1 cup of green tea with 1 1/2 tsp butter + stevia 50 cal

2:00 pm = 1/2 tb of coconut manna 150 cal (did not plan but I could not function, needed some serious calories, will need to do less of tea/butter)

5:00 pm = A few cups of blood orange tea 0 cal

plan: 9:30 pm = tea with 1 1/2 tsp butter and 1 1/2 tsp coconut manna 100 cal

Total 450 cal

The bullet proof tea with butter doesn't really fill me up at all mostly, although its yummy. I get hungry fast with BP tea whereas BP coffee worked really well. I think I will save my
calories for the afternoon or when I get lightheaded and have trouble thinking, otherwise I still get lightheaded but have
used up a lot of calories. Plus I will save 100 for bedtime so that I can fall asleep without being hungry (the tea with butter is
actually good for bedtime for me to starve off hunger until I fall asleep). I actually don't find hunger to be troubling as I was not hungry today.. but the fact that I can't think or focus really bugs me as I get cranky and cant do the work that I need to do. I will try something else next time

KS4-- maybe the tea isn't enough caffeine for you to have the mental clarity that coffee gives you?

I'm really sensitive to caffeine, so it works for me, but each person's different. Great job getting through the day on just tea and fat

Soren, yeah something about coffee is really fulfilling. I would drink it more often except that I don't have some at the moment as I don't really like it by itself and I'm also very sensitive to it ( I get shaky from one strong cup). I will enjoy it in moderation on the next DD's I guess but will figure out something else that works for me instead of BP tea as I need to have good mental clarity every day. Eating 150 cal of just plain coconut manna helped a lot for my mental focus for the rest of the day actually.

Oy... not totally off track, but not as planned. My colleague didn't want the mexican, and our 2nd choice restaurant MOVED and we couldn't find it, and we were in a time crunch, so wound up at a local chain hamburger joint.

I got a turkey burger "naked", worlds tiniest side salad (literally, 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 slices cucumber, a lettuce leaf or 2), about 1oz of cottage cheese, and about 5 strawberries. Sort of weird, but whatever.

Then, I had that mini tootsie pop sucker. 17 cal

Once I got home, got snacky-- magic pop and also a very thin Kavli cracker (3 for 50, so 17?) and a triangle of cheese...

Dinner was about 11oz of pork loin...

I managed to stay busy and not snack more-- I think I finished around 650 cal for the day.

meh. Looking forward to tomorrow, and on Thursday-- I stick with the plan!!!
