I am glad to report my first UD was great! I worked out hard and slept pretty well actually.
I did have another question...When I work out, do I need to replenish the calories I burn? I am thinking especially on the DD, since there will be few taken in to start with. I hope that makes sense? |

I certainly don't. I will burn a lot of calories at a Zumba class in the morning but still keep my DD cals to around 350/400 as a rule.
Glad you UD went well. |

Zumba classes sound so much fun! My gym offers them to members, but we only have one car and my husband is off to work around the time the class starts! BOOO! lol

That is a shame, I do love it. We only have one car too, but as we are retired it doesn't really bother us.

If I can burn off some extra calories by working out, I want those suckers to stay gone. ![]() Basically, I always knew I was carrying around PLENTY of extra calories in my body fat. If I was in need of extra calories, I knew my body could draw from the stored fat energy I was hauling around with me every step. LOLOL Last edited by SoHappy; 10-21-2012 at 08:33 AM.. |

See I still have to reconfigure my way of thinking about things. LOL I am a young padawan still in need of training!

I also work out 3 days/week. I use the 'no exercise' option on the calculator. I don't exercise on DDs because I think I'll feel weak even though I never tried. I don't compensate the energy burnt in exercise with more eating, I just leave things as they are.
I exercise about the same as you: 40/50 minutes of cardio and about 45 minutes of weight training (arms and legs). |
