Note to my old heavy self....

Dear old heavy self,

I wish not to see your face back on my body again! I have worked quite to hard to get to where I am now. And you keep showing up and tempting me with sweets and food that is just not good for me.

Why must you keep doing this after I have such a good day of avoiding things? You should not ever, ever, ever do this to me! DD's are hard enough, I dont need you whispering in my ear about the twinkies in the cupboard, or the leftover chili in the fridge. GO AWAY and GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

I banish you from me, do you hear that old heavy self.....you were banished!

Thank you,
Tanya

(been a rough DD!!! lol! Its been made worse by PMS and the stupid need for CHOCOLATE!!!!)

Good idea! I wish I had written a note to myself when I was bigger and put on it "do not open till you reach goal" and then wrote something like that to myself.

Well done Tanya, you tell her!

Tomorrow will be an UD and you will awaken proud of yourself and strangely less hungry that you expect This still amazes me.

Dear thinner new me,
You are such a keeper, and I love you. We have such fun enjoying ourselves on up days, and resting on down days. You look good in your clothes. There is so much less of you to admire that the love gets concentrated. Thanks for supporting me and honoring our choice to get healthier every day. Stay with me and keep encouraging me.
Big hugs, Blou

Glad this post could help a few of you. I made it for myself as a reminder.......however it didnt help.

I have been trying for a week now to get back to JUDDD the correct way. But I keep going over my DD calories and under my UD calories and the scale is moving in the wrong direction again!!!!

I just wish I could go buy some of the foods I like and have them on hand again. I loved those yoplat (sp/) yogurts, the dessert flavors, they helped the cravings. And I wish I could have some cans of soup and salads on hand for DD's. Even those stupid boxed chinese meals from walmart freezer section were a big help! But with money tight, I have been winging it and not winging it well! It was easier when I could afford this stuff! I will get into the swing of it, just gotta get through these little bumps first!

You can do it katiebubb! I'm just doing protein powder in water or almond milk on down days for a while, and making sure I eat every few hours on up days. Understand the budget thing and hope you can find some new inexpensive recipes that you love. Better for you anyway than prepackaged foods, right? Looks like a challenge you can meet with creativity!

I had a great DD yesterday! And today was an UD, but its my once a month FD. I learned a while back first day of TOM, just dont fight it UD or DD, just eat! I didnt do all that bad though. I had 3 butter breads, a bowl of chili and a small bag of chips today.

The chips was because I was out and about with my client and had like $1 on me and was starving lol! The chili was for dinner and the first piece of butter bread was so good that I had to see if the 3rd piece was just as good because the 2nd was great!

DD tomorrow so after all the bread and chili beans, and TOM I should be good and bloated and not hungry HaHa!

b-lou--- I found a small glass of milk was just as easy as a cup of yogurt so that might help me! I found a while back that dairy of some kind in the am was a good thing for me. I am not a breakfast person, and that show The Doctors suggested things last season like yogurt in the am and it worked. So your right if I try hard enough, I can find things that will work!!!
