Way too much time on my hands!

Will do another DD of 16 mini-meals again today... one each hour... start at 7:00 am... last mini-meal at 10:00 pm... sleep like a baby
7:00 coffee w/2 T half & half * 2 egg whites * 5 oz green pepper strips * 3 oz cantaloupe * coffee w/2 T half & half (late morning sit-down break) Noon 1 oz b/s chicken breast * 2 oz spinach w/2 T ff Italian dressing * 4 oz red pepper strips * 1 oz chicken liver * 1/3 c thawed mixed berries & juice * coffee w/2 T half & half (late afternoon pick-me-up) 6:00 4 oz mushroom slices * 1 oz tilapia w/sprinkle of lemon juice * 6 oz fresh tomato wedges * 1 Magic Pop crispy w/Aldi lite cheese wedge 10:00 2 T dry oatmeal, made up w/water & 1 T brown sugar, packed 11:00 bedtime ![]() About 540 calories... 42 g protein... 17 g fat... 50 net carbs

Pat-- do you hang around the house when you do the every-hour thing? I'm having trouble imagining it any other way?

If you're going to be on the run, baggies of portable stuff in purse or cooler works great. If I were to be at my desk or breakroom at work, I could easily eat some of the messier things, like little bowl of berries in juice. I like to eat at about the top of each hour, which really prevents me from having any hunger at all on DDs, but often enough I've looked up and noticed it's an hour past that at least, so then I have to double up in order to catch up. ![]() I could also opt to do eight feedings by doubling up on the individual food portions, if that would make it easier. But this works well for me, both here at home or when I head out to run errands or play. mid morning - cottage cheese, strawberries 145c
Mid day - either soup (200c) or a pure protein shake 120c Dinner - probably baked potato with cheese and veggies Try to keep it under 500c |
