UD Sunday ~ What are you eating?
We will be going to the fair today, so I'll try to stick to my calories, but will not stress if I go over. I have no idea what I'll be eating, but I'm sure there will be at least one item "on a stick."

Making a big fat mushroom/cheese omelet for breakfast, leftover cheesecake for snacks, and making a lasagne later. YUM!

I'm trying to clean the leftovers out of the refridgerator, so not exactly sure what all I'll be having today.
So far I've had chicken and vegetables cooked in the crockpot. About 3 oz. of chicken, 1/2 potato, about 1 oz. carrots, and 1 oz. onion. I have some BBQ (in the South that means smoked pork...lol) in there too, so will probably have that for lunch or supper. I have a lot of calories to get in today, so going to have to come up with more than that! |

I had a gyro at the fair, a few bites of DH's gelato, and a couple handfuls of kettle corn.
Dinner's in the oven: Turkey roast, sweet potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce (been craving Thanksgiving), and there's still room for wine ~ barely! |

Well, let's see ... I'm currently enjoying some reservatrol in its red wine form
One good thing about calorie counting ... it's very educational. Who knew buffalo wings had 230 calories for three tiny pieces? And I made Betty Crocker pumpkin bars, 170 calories for a teeny weeny 2 inch square. Knowing the calories made me appreciate that square and not go back for more! |
