thanks, don't know how long I'll leave it up as I absolutely hate looking at pictures of me...don't even look into mirrors if I can help it.
BTW, thanks to a recent thread here on the JUDDD forum about skin brushing, I started and my skin is feeling much better now. I am having some slight eruptions but I think it's just the impurities coming out. I no longer have a "crepey" feeling to the skin and it's much softer now. I'm thinking of using CO as my body lotion. Anyone here using it that way? I've started adding it to my morning coffee a few days ago and haven't noticed anything from it.

Hi Mary! I love your picture. I have just started the dry skin brushing too, and have noticed my skin getting softer. I have used CO as a lotion on my arms and hands, and I really like it. It does take a couple of minutes to absorb, and it just takes the smallest amount and really spreads far. I haven't tried on my face or neck yet - don't want to break out!

Mary, I love your picture too. Thanks for giving us your face.
I adore CO on my body and face. And you make me miss skin brushing. I must have lost my brush during our last move. I'll look for another. Thanks for the idea. ![]() |

Good morning WBSM! It's great to have a WOE that gives you a calm place rather than adds a bunch of stress to your life, isn't it? Thanks for sharing that thought.

Popped in here while waiting for laundry to dry, and wanted to say I enjoyed reading all your posts. It's great to see how JUDDD frees us, and how we learn a lot about our bodies in the process.
to everyone new and returning! I can't spend time on the forum the way I used to, but I check in and post a little here and there. Love my buds too much to stay away ![]() I am double-posting some things in the October returners & newbies thread, so don't feel like you must reply to each post. I'm back on JUDDD starting yesterday, after a long time with no rotations of any kind. The scale said 145# yesterday. Funny, as that was my original goal weight, but I am used to the 130s now and want to return My goal is to get back to my range with 138# as the top number asap. Anyway, I am doing JUDDD loosely and my way, especially since I have so little to lose, so the differences are that I am.... 1) Estimating calories (I still keep a food diary, but I don't log anything into a calorie counter) 2) Not counting calories of fruit, vegetables, little bit of coconut oil, seasonings, or my "green drink" which uses some apple juice. 3) Allowing myself up to 1000 calories on DD. My first DD yesterday went well. It was kinda hard to believe I was back on JUDDD and having a real DD after so long ![]()

Hi Sophiethecat! Sounds like you have a great plan to get back where you want to be. I love hearing that, because I know that there will be times, after I reach goal, that my weight may creep up a bit. Seeing you come back to JUDDD and handle that situation with a great plan and a calm attitude is really inspiring. Thanks for sharing it with us!

popping in! on 5th day back, an up day! and i'm sad that i ever stopped! i'm going try and add exercise back in a few days too! i really have to get my weight back under control.
i'm starting to understand why those folks on the biggest loser change careers after their season and become employees at gyms lmao... maintaining is so much harder than losing and now i have to start losing from the very beginninng again! Onward and downward i suppose! Oh and I have a job interview tomorrow. I desparately need the pay increase and the safety of a regular office environment. Fingers crossed peeps, Prayers too!

It's funny to me how I dread DDs (I'm still a newbie, only just starting week 3) but at the end of the DD and the morning of the UD I feel so great and euphoric I don't want that feeling to end. DD's aren't something to be feared I'm learning

Sophiethecat: I see on your avatar that you are IR/PCOS...I am PCOS without IR but am also on Metformin. So you think this WOE is a good one for people with PCOS I would assume based on your awesome stats? Did you take your Metformin throughout this process? Did you adjust your dose as you lost weight? We have similar stats too, I'm about an inch taller than you but otherwise our start weights and goals are similar.

Ty, that is wonderful.
13B, it is all a learning curve. You are doing fine and I am glad you are enjoying an euphoric feeling, along with the less fun hungry DDs. |

Mary and cici, remember bananas since they are the fruit which spends the longest time in the stomach for digestion - 45 minutes - and therefore allow us to keep a "full" feeling longer. I like to start days with fruit and later change to veggies and protein. That's a tip from the "Fit for Life" bestseller, back many years ago. I usually have a half an apple on DDs.
sophie you will be back within your range quickly and easily! So nice to "see" you around. Mary I'm glad I got to see your new avatar! Brushing - I was taught start with hands to rib/midsection, then feet to groin, then do torso. I think the concept is just that as you brush your limbs you are brushing in the direction of the heart. So, it's all good !

I know, I was all excited! I have found that when I cook all my own food on UD, I lose pretty quickly.. When I eat out at restaurants, I stall a bit.. I do like eating out, and the 'oh, I can have the chips now?' mentality has made it difficult NOT to eat out every UD!! I'm going to have to discipline myself though, if I ever want all this weight to come off, and if I don't want to end up taking a second job, ha!
Whoosh fairy coming your way, everyone! |

I need the whoosh fairy over here - been stalled for the last week. Sitting on my high school set point, so not too surprised by the stall. Will see where the diet takes me next week. So happy to be back to the high school weight and I still get to eat food, yeah!

I'll second that about wishing for my high school weight. I'd even settle for my college weight!
That's great news LCI! A whoosh just makes everything look brighter. And how great of you to send her on to the next person. Sounds like we're all lining up for her! |
