JUDDDtober REBOOT
For me, September was about working out and eating low carb only to see a 7 pound gain, and no inches lost at all!! JUDDD worked for me, why I stopped, I don't know
...maybe life got in the way. My mom had pneumonia and was in the hospital, and one of my best friends moved away which = a couple of farewell get togethers. A few binges, summer holidays, and too many UDs in a role later, it was September, and I had lost nothing - I revisted low carb, and my weight started going up UGH!! I guess my body was use to low calorie diets with occasional spikes, and when I started eating ALL high calorie, it didn't respond like it did previously on LC.ANYWAYS... Low carb use to work, but with a few adjustments and discouraging weigh ins, I fear that it no longer works for me So October is JUDDD REBOOT! ![]() I'm tracking my weight on a note pad built on my phone to kinda see what's working and what needs to be adjusted, if I'm eating enough (often my problem - I fear calories, I'll admit). I took my measurements yesterday, and will take them again at the end of the month, before Halloween Candies! ![]() My Start weight is 177. My JUDDD numbers are: UD: 2218 DD: 444 Today was technically my first DD, because I could not wait to start on the first, and I did okay at around 453 calories according to an online tracker(I say around, because I over estimate on fruit, since no one apple is the same IMO). I had a half can of light progresso soup with 5 crackers, two apples and a 90 calorie fiber bar for snacks, and a bowl of greens with fat free italian dressing and a tablespoon of bacon bits for dinner. I also went on a 45 minute walk in the morning. - so awesome first DD - gotta keep it up, but to be honest, I'm typing to avoid eating right now, because I am pretty hungry! Tomorrow = lots of small/medium meals and step aerobics. I pre-entered my meals, and I'm only at 1280, so maybe I'll double up on my salmon for dinner, and/or have a little something extra for lunch, maybe add an egg during my breakfast for a total of three soft boiled eggs with sliced tomato. I'm some what excited, but the guilt is still there - it's a lot of food to me, but I understand the JUDDD Science, so I'm going to try to keep close to his numbers. Some people don't even count on UD... I would like to feel comfortable getting to that point, and not unintentionally over or undereating. I want this to be a WOE, not a diet, and its not going to feel that way until it feels more natural, and I don't need all these counters, scales, tapes, etc... That's my goal, along with my weight goal of 150. I hope others will join me in the quest of an awesome JUDDDtober. I'd like to be reintroduced to the 160's which judging from my last JUDDD success, it's very doable. Good luck everyone ![]()

I did have a weird morning post first DD back...
This morning in the shower, I was almost faint and nauseous - I actually moaned and groaned out loud, I couldn't help it!... :/ Once I got food and tea in me, I was fine, but I hope that's just a one time thing. And it could be a lot of other factors. I didn't sleep well, so that could have affected my wellness this morning too. Nonetheless, I may be postponing or shortening my workout tonight since I do still feel weak and plus. the hour of sleep is not going to get me by - I NEED A NAP! |

Feeling much better now!
I got in an hour and 40 minute walk/hike Also got in 2000 calories. I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow and the DD. I already planned it out - 3 egg whites, tomatoes, and a slice of lean ham for breakfast, and then beef and rice in the evening with salsa equaling 470 calories. I'll be out most of the day shopping tomorrow, so I need to watch temptations! |

So far so good.
Today has me paranoid since I didn't prepare all of my own food.. It's tough being social on your DD, I walked a ton today, and judging by my tracker numbers, I'm under, but that doesn't count any extra butter used at breakfast so my eggs wouldn't stick :-p Hope everyone is having a good week! |
