October goal: to get to the 40's (sorry, I do it in kilos) and to stay there!

I'm a very slow loser as I only do 3 DDs per week (mon-wed-fri), 2 UDs per week (tue-thu) and have the weekends off.

10/01 - DD - 51.4Kg - 113lbs
10/02 - UD - 51Kg - 112.2lbs

Starting the month at 184.2lbs after losing just 1.8lbs in September. I think I need to pay attention to what I'm eating a bit more and keep on top of my down days (I've been letting my calories creep up too much and too often).

October goals:
To see 180lbs on the scale
Stick to consistent 500 calorie down days
Introduce some daily exercise (walking)

I would like to join you all as well. My goal for October is to follow my UD/DD rotations and follow my calorie numbers. I have a normal than high starting weight because of a high carb weekend and TOM starting yesterday.

My goal for October is 185 lbs.

10/2 194 lbs. UD (aiming for 1952 cal)

So...I thought I was doing great. Then all of the sudden, I haven't lost anything worth mentioning since 9/11...Oh, I've lost 0.2 here, 0.4, there. The last substantial lost I had was on 9/11 and that was 4.6 lbs. So I'm not sure whether to ride it out or consider adjusting calories. My UD limit is 2400 and I can't say that I ever eat that many calories. So...

10/1 - 300.6 UD - 2025 calories
10/2 - 300 DD - will be at or less than my allotted DD calories

Karen, I know that frustrated feeling you must be having. Look how great you are doing though! Your body must be going through one of those inevitable "I have to figure out what's going on" times. Seems like that happens every 40 to 50 pounds for me. And it gets more frequent the closer I get to goal (remembering from last time, 'cuz I'm nowhere near right now!).

I'm not a pro at this yet, but I would actually make sure to eat your full UD calories for a few weeks before recalculating your calories. Just my take. I have this gut feeling that getting the highs and lows are important for this to work.

Hang in there! I know you'll be having a whoosh real soon.
