Yay!

I'm still doing really well. We'll think of you this evening. I might even have a Mai tai! I know I will have a great salad and some of hubby's steak.

I'm supposed to be walking every day, but find that a bit difficult so today I rode the Exercycle for almost an hour. My funny arm has my back out of kilter more than I realized. At least I felt like I did something.

Onward and downward on your weight loss. As everyone says - where else can you have the results we get here? No place!

Hugs

So, how was it? Was dinner at Chuck's awesome and the view awesome-er?? Did you have a Mai-Tai?? I still wish I was there! Can I come live in your walk-in closet?

I'm still 3 pounds down today after a nice UD yesterday which I enjoyed very much.

However, today I'm not feeling well. I have the sniffles and I'm sneezing, and have some weird digestive discomfort. I'm drinking hot tea with lemon and just going to rest today.

Just found out I have to fly to Seattle Monday morning and be there 4 days. Ugh. I wanted to get the rest of my Hawaii vacation weight off before going on another trip.

After that I'll be packing for the Florida trip (10 days) and then right after that driving to Monterey Bay for a week.

I'm just going to have to knuckle down, stick to my rotations while away no matter what and stay away from the social hours and big dinner programs.

Ugh. did I say that? I wanna stay home!

I know! It will be easy and welcomed to have a good, low-key DD today. I'm planning to keep it really low, low, low and so far so good. Hopefully I'll be rewarded on the scale tomorrow.

I tried on some pants that were feeling tight and they are getting loose again. Whew!! That means some fat is going bye-bye. I also got out the tape measure and it proves I'm losing some inches already. Pudginess be gone!!!!

Dinner was yummy along with the view. I also had a mai tai - yummy too.

You are really covering the miles these days!

I do have a walk in closet, but it is stuffed to the max! Not sure you would find it very comfy! Living here is lovely, though.

Glad the pants are looser - always a good measurement of what is happening.

Had our flu shots today...tis the time of year.

Hugs

I'm not feeling better today and the scale stayed the same. I'm going to drink chicken broth and try to take a nap and be a home-body.

Seabreezes: Laughing about your stuffed closet. Mine is really huge, but also stuffed to the max. Although I do clean it out when all of our kids and grandies visit so the 13 year old can sleep on a blow-up bed in there. She really likes it. I'll soon be getting ready for having everyone here at Christmas and the bigger our family gets, the more creative I need to be, finding places for everyone to sleep.

Glad you enjoyed dinner. It's such a lovely place and awesome view.

Yam-Yam! Welcome back! I know exactly what you mean about not wanting to leave Hawaii. One of my dreams is to rent a condo there for a month...one of these years.

I think you are correct in suspecting the water weight you gathered is complicated by the long plane flight. Which will get more complicated when you make several more plane flights over the next two weeks. BUT on the other end of this hectic time there will be calm DDs, huge retained water - ahem - interrupted nights, and a return to your former glory.

AND IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT! Kristin's point is oh so critical. NORMAL PEOPLE (whoever they are, assuming they actually exist) DO THIS. Anyone who gets the metaphorical opportunity to fill the bathtub with papaya and coconut filled chocolate cupcakes, then roll around in it with their mouth open, should do so!!!!

Congratulations. You are as wonderful as sunshine . And you know exactly how to handle the occasional dip in an ocean of caramel.

In between trips and doing a fly-by posting.

Got back from Seattle yesterday and am now packing for Florida. I leave at 0-dark-thirty Sat morning.

Seattle went well! I proved to myself it is possible to stick with strict rotations while out of town and also make it to the hotel gym to sweat!

It paid off as all the Hawaii free-for-all vacation weight is now gone and it took another .6 with it so I'm at a new low and in new territory (lowest I've been since 2005). Yippeee!!!!!

I haven't had to deal with this yet, but it's so good to hear that not only can you recover quickly from an "eat-a-thon" but that you can also stick with rotations away from home. Great!

Thanks Budds!! While I'm in Florida I don't want to maintain. I want to LOSE! I will have access to a kitchen so hopefully I can stick to lean protein, lots of non-starchy veggies and lots of low fat or fat free dairy. I'm sure I'll have an UUAAD somewhere in there, but it's all gonna be good.

I should be able to get in lots of swimming, walking and even gym time.

To tell you the truth, I really don't want to go!! I'm so motivated to lose right now that I want to stay home and concentrate on my goals.

But, this is about supporting extended family, so I feel like I gotta go.

Well, I got one suitcase cleaned out, laundry done and now I have to decide what to put back in.

It's actually pretty chilly out today so I have my fire place turned on. Feels good. After packing I'm going to get some cardio in. Need to decide whether to run to the gym or stay here and do a workout DVD. Decisions, decisions...

Did you find your size 6 silk pants? What color are they. I'll bet they are so awesome, cute and comfy, too! (I was going to type "se*y" but didn't know if that word is allowed?) but I'll bet they are! Especially with you in 'em!
