Arbitrary Number on the Scale
Why does it bother me so much? A little red blinking number isn't me - it isn't how I look, it isn't who I am.... I've been doing the 10 in 10, and I've been happy on JUDDD and I know I've lost *substance* - so I need to just stop obsessing over that $&$$#& scale and be glad that I'm thinner and healthier.

I'm a number-n*z* too. It's a love/hate relationship....
I can honestly say that it's something that keeps me going though--I weigh every day. In the past when I didn't, I would go days on a binge and worry about the number later....sometimes much later. Now, I still slip up, but weighing every day has helped me get right back on plan the next day. I know it's just a number.....but as I'm still "obese" by the numbers, I'm still treating it as a gauge for how I'm progressing.
