Update:
Although I saw 269.6 one day, I have pretty much been 270.6 every other day this week!

Definitely lost 1/2" off my waist though, which is remarkable; that darn number never budges, even when I lose 10lbs.

My morning blood sugar hasn't changed much, which has been a bit of a disappointment, but I'm doing an experiment with low-protein at dinner. Last night I had a salad w/lots of Caesar dressing, broccoli w/cream cheese dip, and a bunch of smoked almonds...blood sugar this morning was 102, and my "normal" is usually 112-120. That's a good improvement! Now, to see if I can replicate it for a few days!

I can't seem to budge waist inches much either unless I am exercising like a mad thing. I am thrilled for you.

My average weight for the week is 270.5, so that's -1.7lbs for the week.
And it was -1.8lb last week, and -1.8 the week before that.

It doesn't seem fabulous, but 1.8x52=93.6 and 1.7x52=88.4.
I don't know if I can keep it up for a year,
but I always look at it that way when I feel like complaining about my weekly loss.

Also, my blood pressure this morning was 108/68!
I was pretty impressed with that!!!

ETA:
I was going to say that my morning blood sugar hasn't improved, but I looked back at the last few weeks, and I'm wrong.
My average last week (started plan on Wed) was 116, and my average this week is 110.
The week before, when I "sort of" did the plan: 117
The week before, when I wasn't following any plan: 122
It's weird how I don't see the day-to-day changes; I really have to look back,
and sometimes average the numbers, to see a pattern.

Again, it may not seem like a HUGE improvement, but the morning blood sugar is the one I've had the most trouble with since being diagnosed in May of last year. It's not that hard for me to get my numbers down during the day if I eat right, exercise, drink adequate water, etc.
