Question about messed up DD
 
Hello. I am a long time lurker. I'm totally inspired and motivated by JUDDD and this site. Never posted anything/anywhere before.Question: I was having a good DD today but lost control this evening. Now, I'm way over DD calories. But so far, it's not an UD either. What should tomorrow be?

An up day. You'll never get through your next DD unless you have fuel from an UP Day to carry you through.

Some of us find it takes time to 'tune' DDs down. Not a big deal. Stick with your planned rotation.

The important thing is, every day, don't give up. If you eat an unexpectedly big lunch on DD, return to reduced calories for the rest of the day (don't proceed to eat the pantry clean). JUDDD is gradual, it is not all or nothing. JUDDD is very forgiving.

You are doing fine.

Once you get through a DD you'll find they get easier and easier. I find a cup of broth with a tiny bit of cream (optional) helps me if I feel those late evening pangs. I was surprised at how full I felt after having this the other evening.

Yup, an UD is the way to go. You may slow the losses down a little because of you slip up but that is not as important as nourishing your body ready for the next DD.

The broth with a little cream, or even milk. is a great one. Broth is one of my standbys if ever I feel a bit desperate on a DD. Though these days that is vey rare thank goodness.

Tomorrow is a new day, and its an UD. Just keep trying at the DD it and soon they will be second nature!
