DD Insanity

Whew, DD are crazy! I just went in to put away a book in my daughter's bookshelf, and ended up pulling EVERYTHING out and re-organizing it. It is now fabulously organized, and I looked at the clock - it only took me like 15 minutes. DD must confer super-powers or something.
Kind of reminds me of the way I felt in the last 2 months of pregnancy. GOTTA CLEAN!! GOTTA ORGANIZE!!!

That's so great! I totally agree. I get most of my energy and organizational desires on DDs.

I have accomplished some brain draining tasks, conducted 2 meeting, reviewed 10 case records, walked up and down the floor 5-10 times in high heels (we work in a huge converted warehouse) and looked up at 5pm wondering were everyone was going... Like almost 1-2 DDs per week. I would have thought in the past that this level of energy was only achievable by some sort of illegal substance. I like most DDs better than most UDs. I am now frequently fasting till dinner on UD because of the awesome energy surge that I can not maintain if I eat throughout the day. I'm basically doing fast 5 with JUDDD calories, but one UD I may wake up hungry and if I do I eat, but tend to wish I had not.

I love the energy too!

Carly, do you notice that it has helped you with losses to eat Fast 5 and JUDDD? It has moved me from my stall. Or at least that is my case! Love it!

Over the course of this adventure I have seen my food needs change several times. For awhile I needed to eat lunch on UD even if I was not hungry. These days I eat to hunger. Which means I frequently don't eat anything solid until dinner time...but DD or UD, if I am uncomfortably hungry, I know what to eat.

And, DD or UD, my energy levels are very, very niiiiiiice.

JUDDD is such a great framework for living! I suspect not only does JUDDD meld very well with Fast-5, but it may also be a great partner with Intuitive Eating. I have just started looking into that one.

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

I find fast 5 works well for me. JUDDD is my main WOE, but I naturally just lean toward eating only in the evening. Today is a DD and I'm fasting till dinner at least. I am on vacation starting today and will definately abandon rotations by tomorrow, but may even stop tonight if we want to eat dinner out. If we stay home I'll keep to my regular DD and just have bedtime snack. I will try to do fast 5 at least 1 or 2 of the days we are in Canada, but I'm just gonna enjoy. I really like fast 5 because I stay energetic and don't get hungry as long as I don't start eating. Once food crosses my lips I get hungry.

I am actually doing Fast 6 on UD. I eat 2 meals, but it seems to be an 11:00 am lunch and then a 5 pm dinner. On DD I have been eating one meal between 12 & 2. I love the feeling of not worrying about eating more than anything. I am transitioning to not counting calories next. I am sort of having difficulty letting go of the control, but if I only eat to the hunger scale, I rarely get all of my cals in.

This is exactly the kind of thing I'm better at on DDs. I can't think very clearly on DDs but I can clean like a turbo-charged bot!

I know, right? This AM, before breakfast, I was still in fasting mode, and while I waited for my little one to be 'done' on the potty, I was feverishly cleaning out the drawers in the bathroom.. I wonder if there's some kind of crazy cleaning/organizing hormone released by fasting!!

Is that what happened to me on Wednesday? I cleaned out my tea drawer, and felt super awesome about it.

And then I went online and ordered more tea, now that I had room. Hmmmm... maybe I can't credit DD with this?

I get totally into vacuuming on which ever DD falls on the weekend. My Saturday or Sunday DD involves serious laundry and marathon vacuuming. Who knew...

My house will be sooooooooo grateful when a DD makes me want to clean (although I think it's getting close).

Yes, THIS! I'm at 1:48pm on a DD and have only had coffee so far, but wow, I've already hand-washed all of last night's cook-athon dishes, cleaned out the bathroom, vacuumed and also burned off a huge number of files from my computer onto 6 discs! On days like this, so much stuff gets done so effortlessly, and I swear this never happened to me before JUDDD. Nowadays I always save these types of normally annoying chores for DDs and my use of time is way more efficient.
