switching it up? or tips to restart loss?
Hi All
I haven't been on much in a while b/c I haven't lost anything in over 2 months. I'm frustrated but all I can seem to do is maintain...I kept going for a number of weeks but after that...I lost my motivation. Now I am still following...but somewhat loosely. At least I'm not gaining...much. But I remember there being a thread on here about switching it up or something about tips to get things moving again? I have tried searching several different ways but I don't think I am doing it right as I don't get ANYTHING to come up in the search. If someone knows what I'm talking about can you please, please bump the thread? thanks, dee |

i'm in the same situation. was maintaining for like 2 months and not losing. so naturally I overate for a month and gained.....
starting back up again. hoping that the 3 months of maintaining/overeating will have been enough time for my body to adjust and juddd will start working again. |

Maybe try playing with carbs--make one week a low carb week and your DDs are fat fasts? Or maybe experiment one week where you drink excess water every day?

Why your body wants a break from WL
I found this link invaluable when I slowed down. It really put things into perspective for me. HTH. |

Crazynanc; I feel your pain, my friend. It's brutal. I can deal with weeks of stalling but months??? I think Dawn may be right.
Steph: that just might work. I know my body and it likes change! Even tho mentally, I woul rather just keep on keepin on. I've added coconut oil to my morning coffee to see if that will get things moving Thanks guys! |
