I'm going to try not to eat anything today. Is that ok? I originally thought that i had to eat my down day calories but I read in another post that that is just a maximum and eating less or nothing is preferable. Any thoughts?

I am having a cup of black tea right now, mainly bc my office is freezing, but the caffeine should help too.

Fasting is perfectly fine if you're able to do so.

Saxy, my Trader Joe's habanero hot sauce is actually hotter than the O'Brother, but I'm nearly out!

So far today (5:30 p.m. here) I've had:

coffee w/ half and half = 40 calories
Water, water, water with a total of one lemon squeezed in. I don't count the calories for lemon juice in water.

I planned on grilled chicken breast for dinner but still debating whether or not to eat it since I'm doing OK. Don't want to go to bed hungry though.

I think I found my DD staple....roasted squash! Wow....talk about filling! My fiancé and I each had half a butternut squash and didn't need to put anything but Mrs. Dash on it and it was fantastic! We're excited to try the acorn squash next!

Dawn, I go to the Twin Cities once a month and there's a Trader Joe's there--I'm going to check out that habanero sauce!

It's good, just heat with no real vinegar flavor. I'm not a big fan of vinegar most of the time, though I enjoy the occassional pickle or ACV on a salad. I buy 3 of the bottles at a time and probably go through them in about a month!
