well I dunno exactly, but dinner will be a three course meal in a lovely inn visiting with my parents... gourmet and lovely presentations... a glass of wine...

I will prolly take it easy today during the day, just to allow a lot of my cals for this treat (won't count cals for it, too hard to estimate re a bazillion ingredients and components... but heck, I think 1500 or so should cover it).

gosh it is so nice to wake up and think, "I can eat today"

update on dinner, so yummy!

2 tiny slices of bread, itty bitty, with smidge of herb butter
rack of lamb in hazelnuts and parmesan and dijon
a potato lentil patty thingy... tasty... ate half
yellow string beans
lovely sauce

a desert w finely minced fruit salad inside a meringue island in a tiny bit of coconut creme anglais and lots of very whimsical decorative stuff... so pretty... and tasted quite light... small serving, but beautiful

1 glass white wine

I am full, but not stuffed... and it was really nice to know that this was all fine due to UD, and I think that actually helped me not overeat (in the I've-"blown"-it-so-go-wild mentality).

I really enjoyed my UD today. Breakfast was my chocolate flavored metagenic drink, blended with a frozen banana and almond milk. Lunch was late, I had Indian food, okra bindi with a little rice and chapatis. I love okra, my DH doesn't, so I hardly ever eat it, was happy to see it on the menu. For dinner I had a smoothie. Yum!

Anyone else not hungry on UD mornings? Sometimes I feel I could just stay in fasting mode, usually by afternoon my hunger kicks in.

This is really common. Many of us feel that way. Listen to your body and eat when you're ready. If you notice you're not losing as well, you MAY need to eat breakfast earlier, only because some of us stall if we don't break the stress response quickly enough. I find that if I eat on an UD earlier than I'm ready, it actually keeps me full right up to lunch time, so it's a good thing for me to eat early, but others find they enjoy and lose well with skipping breakfast both days.

I'm not a fan of okra myself, but LOVE Indian food. Sounds like you had a good day.

Thanks, Dawn. It was excellent . I not losing super fast, more like a pound and a half a week, but I'm happy. I've also noticed that I've really slowed down, I'm not eating fast. I got to the restaurant near closing time, I felt bad for my waiter that had to wait for me to finish eating. It was so good, I wanted to savor it, not just barrel thru it.
