Love the title of this thread, Joy-Joy

Am posting my menu since I want to be stricter with my calorie count. DH and I watched the Horizon program, Eat, Fast and Live Longer together and he wants to start the 5/2 regime today!:jump joy:

Breakfast - 2 coffees with low-fat half and half
Lunch - half cup low-fat greek yogurt with 1tsp flaxseed.
Dinner - grilled swordfish with 1 cup chopped salad (made from diced tomato, red onion, bell pepper and cucumber mixed with zero calorie rice vinegar and garlic salt - approx 40 calories per cup).

Hoping DH and I can make the 5/2 diet a way of life (He intends to completely fast until dinner, and then eat his 600 calories in one meal btw).

I googled but can't find the chocolite shakes. May I ask if there's soy in the ingredients and where did you get them?

So far, morning coffee with half and half. 80 ounces of water with fresh lemon juice squeezed in.

For dinner it will either be beef, tilapia or an omelet. Wish I had some chicken but I don't. I really want something with gravy on it. And, maybe I'll make a side salad. Not sure yet.

It would have helped if I had used the right name. It's actually a Healthsmart ChocoRite chocolate shake. I got confused because Healthsmart also makes ChocoLite chocolates and protein bars. Anyway, they are carried on netrition.

Here's a link: Healthsmart ChocoRite Protein Shakes

Apparently, one serving is two scoops. I use one scoop for 75 calories and mixed with coffee and ice, I think it's excellent. Alas, though it is a whey based shake, I think there's some soy in it.

I pretty much always have the same thing on DDs now- it's easy and requires no thinking and little prep/cooking. I just do it.

1 can of Progresso Light Chicken Pot Pie soup (my fave) split into 3 small servings that I eat over 3-4 hours around lunch time. (200 cal)

A sandwich for supper made with 2 slices of 45 calorie bread, 2 slices 25 calorie light bologna, mustard and some of the following:

jarred roasted red bell pepper
sliced dill pickle
raw onion
tomato
lettuce
pepperoncini rings

Sometimes I have a couple strawberries or a Magic Pop cracker (15 cal) as a snack or side dish.

Thanks, I pulled up the nutritional info and they do have soy. Drat! The banana chocolate looks yummy!
