Snack ideas?

I've read through the bang for your buck and staples threads, and can't seem to find a snack idea that appeals to me.. I'm hungry, I have about 100 calories to spare for snacking today, but can't think of a thing.

What do you usually like to snack on? What sounds good?

carrots or celery with hummus?
low fat cheese stick, fruit, and a few (like 3) nuts?
cottage cheese and fruit?
protein bar? (I like the think thin ones - actually have no peanuts or oats, which I can't eat, and low sugar)
protein shake?
small turkey and cheese sandwich on a dinner roll?
tomato, mozzarella, and basil leaf with a little drizzle of EVOO?
whole wheat/grain toast with nut butter and some strawberries?
100 cal chocolate bar?
8-10 oz sparkling water with 1 oz fruit juice?
1/2 small bag pop chips

Some of these might be closer to 150 cals, but if they sound good, jump in!

I just don't have any low-cal foods, lol! I did find an old bag of shiritaki noodles in the bottom of my fridge, and cooked 'em up with some curry powder, a bit of home-made coconut milk (boiled dried coconut and strained the resulting 2 tablespoons of water into the pot) and some tomato.. It's not bad - and gives me something to eat while I wait for dinner. Lol!

We just bought a Hamilton Beach fast pop maker. It makes Popsicles in minutes, similar to the zoku maker. If you have the real estate to store the unit in your freezer, you can make popsicles whenever you feel the urge. We made some using a banana and milk last night. It makes 2oz popsicles, so they can be quite low calorie.

We found the pop maker on sale for $20!

I was just poking around and saw it listed somewhere for $2.75!

I'm in the process of giving up diet soda, but when I really need a treat I have a glass of diet rootbeer with a tablespoon of half and half (It's like a 20 calorie ice cream float!)

Yoplait makes some pretty good 90 calorie yogurts. I split them in half and mix in a scoop of walden farms marshmellow dip.

I just bought turkey pepperoni. I haven't tried it yet, but you can have a whole lot for 70 calories.

I keep a box of Fiber One brownies on hand for those days I gotta have a sweet. Also, one of my go-to's on DD's is a puffed rice cake with a laughing cow cheese...

The brownies are 90 kcals and the rice cake/lc is about 70...I've got the cinnamon cakes and cheese and they go together great.

Also on DD's I use celery and carrot sticks as an afternoon snack

you didn't say if you were in the mood for a sweet snack or salty? crunchy or not? it is often a texture I am after.

right now I am addicted to cubed cantaloupe sprinkled with finely ground pink salt.

love my zoku for quick cold snacks..my fave are organic carrot juice, nonfat greek yogurt, vanilla and stevia/erythritol combo. I could eat four big pops for about 100cal.

for salty/crunchy I mist two organic corn tortillas with water, sprinkle with sea salt, pop in toaster oven on med high and get "chips" I can break up and dip in some greek yogurt mixed with fresh organic salsa.

If you don't have any hummus, blend up a tin of pretty much any kind of beans with a little lemon and salt for a lovely creamy dip for veggies

thin rye crackers spread with laughing cow, sprinkled with pink salt, topped with halved cherry tomatoes fresh out of the garden make me really happy too. especially with a 3oz pour of a decent red wine.

Blend up a clean frappucino or make a cup of homemade clean no sugar cocoa with homemade marshmallow, dunk in an organic graham cracker
