OK so far but it will be interesting to see how it plays out for the rest of the day. I usually have quite a light breakfast and lunch so that I can save my calories for dinner with DH but after the 28 day potato hack, I'm transitioning to a leptin reset (I can't just jump in as I need to get used to eating fat again) and the part that I've introduced this week is a relatively high protein breakfast - and that's approx. half of my calories for a DD.

And the majority of my remaining calories is already assigned to a high-fibre lunch substitute (apple puree, thickened with glucomannan and psyllium and served with low-fat custard).

I'll see how today progresses. Best wishes to fellow DD people.

8:00 am here. On my DD if I eat a cold cooked potato it keeps me from being hungry. Through the day I may eat 3 or 4 I weigh them and they don't have a lot of calories. I don't like them hot without butter on them but I boil up a bunch of small ones skins and all and just eat one every now and then cold. Works for me.

So far so good. It's early yet so my goal is just to try to stay as busy as I can and drink as many fluids as I possibly can. That seems to help. Try to mix up my drink choices so it feels like I'm having something different. I'll have my coffee w/ ff creamer for breakfast. Then, I'll make iced tea w/lemon and sip on that a while. Then, I may switch over to green tea. Have a great day everyone!

No problem with hunger (so a 5 for that, so far) but my hands and feet are freezing, I'm as cold as I was on the first few days of my potato hack, back in early March. As well as the hot water bottles I may have to wrap myself in a survival blanket as soon as I get home.

I crave sunshine.

I am a really cold natured person normally but I haven't found that I am any colder on DD days or potato hack I find that very odd.

FYI: On DD days there is a recipe on a Buttoni dumpling thread that only has 86 calories in 12 dumplings. I also do that some on DD. If not usually the cold cooked potatoes.

I'm home, so after waiting a while to make sure that my temperature had stabilised after the journey back, I took a surface thermometer reading of my hands and they're approx. 65F or 15C. I lack the hardiness to expose my lower legs or feet for long enough to take a reading.

Apparently, on low carb or low calorie WOE, it's not unusual for some people to feel cold. Admittedly, I'm not normally this bad.

So far, so good. I had 3 cups of coffee with 60 calories of creamer this morning. Then I switched to lemon water about 11:15.

I am going to wait to have dinner about 6, this will be a piece of salmon with lemon pepper and some broccoli.

Not a bit hungry.

Corvette, I had boiled potatoes last night on my DD, hot with spray 0 calorie butter and salt and pepper. Delicious. That spray butter tastes pretty good.

As of now doing pretty good. This afternoon was challenging, however, pushed through it. Took a show and a nap, so that helped pass some time. Thus far I have still only consumed ff creamer in my coffee which totals 20 for the day. I may go with black eyed peas for 100 calories before bed time. They are warm and yummy and should keep my stomach from rumbling til morning anyway. This has been a hard DD for me and idk why. I've been usually kicking right through them. I have been trying to keep the cals under 200 so maybe I'm feeling a little deprived. Oh well, this too shall pass.

400 cals and a 3 mile jog. I'll give it a 4 or 5 today. I hope the scale is kind tomorrow. I just about drowned in tea and lemon water today and NO diet soda.

3 just now, but will soon be a 5

We have friend staying for 3 days and I am determined to do my DD today.

I have sat with them for breakfast and lunch with only a coffee each time. I will shortly be cooking salmon, vegetables and potatoes which I will eat, in small quantities, with them.

We are at the theatre tonight so may indulge in a Diet coke.

Have a super time.

By the by, the Hayward Light show is astonishing. I'd dearly love to own a couple of exhibits.

I'm kind of blah today, and I think it's because TOM is headed this way. I know I'm going into a week where there likely won't be any losses and in fact, might be small gains. Just the way it is every month. I was going to exercise, but didn't want to, so I'm feeling guilty about that. I feel very bored with today's DD menu, but don't want to put any more effort into it. Just blah. It'll pass...

I was starving today so I made that recipe. Still starving but it was something different. Not sure I am really hungry but something is different today. I am rarely this hungry. Maybe it means I am losing something. My mind probably.

So my DD is more like a 1. Have not had one of those in a very long time.

I got to feeling better as the day went on. Probably totalled out at a 3 overall. Feeling very satisfied at 11pm after my dinner of chicken breast at 7pm. Boy, I'm glad tomorrow is an UD!

I don't usually fast on a DD but I need to today because we're going to a friend's cultural evening tonight and there will be demonstrations of various Balkan dairy items (how to make yoghurt, a particular soft cheese etc.). It would be horribly impolite not to sample so I'm saving all of my calorie allotment for that and I'm realistic that I may need to go a little bit over (but absolutely not more than 450-500 kcals in total, if I can help it) as I very much doubt that traditional Balkan cuisine faffs about with percentages of skimmed milk.

Hungry today, but that's probably because the bulk of my evening calories came from wine and cookies last night.
