A 4 so far. Too busy to eat. It's looking like a long, late night at work. I have some cottage cheese here at the office if I need it but I've already had 200 calories today so I might try to skip it if hunger doesn't distract me. I know this forum will distract me so signing off now JBs!!! See you tomorrow - hopefully with happy scale news.

I am at the end of the day and most definitely a 4+.

I tried something totally new this time; the JUDDD DD splurgette!

only coffee with CO until 3pm

3 pm creamsicle protein shake

8 pm grilled cheese sandwich (2 slices smart carb bread, 2 slices 2% Kraft cheddar, 2/3 TBSP butter) with celery sticks and calorie free russian tea

830 pm Blue Bunny ice cream sandwich (portion control version - 80 cal)

Bingo - on the dot 500 calories!

(Because sometimes you just need to feel a little pampered on a DD...even with food! Amazingly, it's possible!)

Halfway through my DD (my 3rd on the potato hack) and feel somewhere around 2.

I've had to start supplementing with konjac to provide some much needed fibre as I'm getting more and more uncomfortable and the small volume of food that I've managed to eat on the PH doesn't seem to stimulate gut transit. I hope the addition of this fibre doesn't counteract the PH but I was at a loss as to what else to do.

Headache-y again (but think that's related to the gut issue).

I have no appetite so I'm trying to decide when to eat something (I don't eat enough calories on the UD so I can't afford to drop then on the DD).

I'll review the PH again at the end of Sunday and decide whether to continue with it. I hope matters have resolved by then.

Yes, DD after carb fest is pretty easy, and not only after carb fest but also after eating more calories in general

Aw Mel-- hope you feel better soon

I'm doing fine-- it's around my snack time, but I think I'll push through by drinking more lemon water, and make it to dinner.

I bet today's a 4.5 by the end

5 on the non-hunger, but 3 for how I feel. Rainy and chilly today and my body feels slightly creaky. I noticed it when I did my Callanetics this morning. It felt harder and I wasn't even close to my normal flexibility. Have I really gotten to the age where I can feel the weather in my bones and muscles??? Also, now I've developed a sinus headache. Wah wah wah! Shut up and go make some hot tea, ya whiner!

Gosh I'm hungry today! It's after lunch. I think I can only give it a 2.5 right now.

I just drank a diet pepsi. I might need the coconut oil or something to make me stop thinking about food.

Of course, I'm babysitting my grand kids and that always makes me hungry for some reason.

Aww, LCG, it's ok to vent a little bit..I'm in Florida and our weather has been really cold..some 30's and 40's at night..up in the 60s in the daytime..but when you're not used to it..it's kinda miserable..and a lot of people feel it in their bones and joints , as I do..I have also had some very unpleasant dd's..but so far today...It's Good...haven't been hungry and have saved a couple of hundred cals for dinner..that is a major accomplishment for me..just remember you will have better days again too.Tomorrow is Saturday, an ud..and I'm going to try not to worry much about what I eat..I love ice cream, and maybe I can find some of those low cal things that people have talked about..then again...maybe I shouldn't..if they come in a box..that means there is more than one..could be trouble for me...I sometimes get the little cones at McD's..they are only about 160 calories ,,but I better double check.

Adi, I've been wondering how your DD potato days are going! Have you been eating DD calories in potato's only? If so, how many DD's have you done this?

I'm looking forward to see how the unlimited potato DD works out, please keep us posted

It really, truly does, Taghag. You just have to get through the first hard ones. A month or two in, and you'll think they're not that big a deal. You'll have learned what holds you and makes you happy. Hang on, you'll get there!

I'm one that puts off eating until the end of the day. If I eat early I awaken the monster and want to eat ALL day! Had just black coffee so far today. I'd give it a 4.5 day!

Been doing the potato DD's for over a week. So far so good. I am maintaining and eating about 800 calories of cold boiled gold potatoes. After my egg and coffee with HWC for breakfast that is.

Today's DD was going great. nothing to eat so far, feeling great.

Then, in spite of the snow and wind DH decides we will head into town (on Public Transport, remember I live in LOndon!) to do a couple of jobs, have dinner and see a play we want to see. There are reduced price tickets. I do love him....

That's utterly charming Which play? When DH returns from his business trip, we're planning to attend the Hayward Light exhibition.

I'm a little cold but nothing like last week so the potato hack and I seem able live with each other now that I've introduced rice. I'm sure this will adjust at some point but both plain potato and rice (or, more accurately, those starches in the absence of added fat etc.) seem to obliterate my appetite. I've no idea why this happens as until I did this hack, and after eating LC for so long, I'd convinced myself that they would be triggers for eating too much (as I like them so much).

Of course, I won't really know what's happened on the PH until after I've finished it and can tell whether there will be a glycogen/water rebound. But for now, it was psychologically important for me to see that I could break the 150lbs stall that I'd endured for so many weeks.

This DD is a 4 emotionally and a 5 for eating to plan (so far).

A definite 5 for me. I had coffee with HWC for breakfast and then went outside to do chores since I overslept. Kept busy and realized at 3:30 pm that I had not had breakfast or lunch. Now I am drinking iced tea so I can wait on dinner and have microwave potato chips with ketchup. Something to look forward too.

So far so good, I would say a 4. Hunger has been tolerable, the gluc pills and protein water has keep the pangs to a dull roar. Maybe it is all in my head, I don't know. I am off today so I have plenty of time to think about how hungry I am and I haven't done that.

It's going well...4ish. I fasted completely until 1:45 pm and then only had less than 300 calories but I'm up 3 lbs since this morning. I don't usually count afternoon/evening weight, but I was sure hoping I might go down a little bit.
