Vegetable soup and crackers so far for 174 calories. But I'm getting hungry. Prob salad w/ff italian dressing and more soup for dinner.

Still cold, but it's going pretty good. 5 even. I've had 2 nice big mugs of coffee 'n' cream. I'll have 2 HB eggs around 4ish, and then 2 scrambled eggs w/a little butter for dinner. I like my egg days!

I'm going out on a limb and saying FIVE (5) for today. Hunger is under control (oh, caffeine, you elusive mistress), I'm drinking lemon water like I'm actually made of the stuff (at this point, with some liquid splenda, it tastes like lemonade to me), food is planned, I have a great UD planned for tomorrow, laundry is getting done, I didn't have to kill my dogs on our walk today (let's just say this weather is NOT agreeing with me or 1 of them, and the other is loving it, and I"m
when I walk them)...did I mention to anyone I had caffeine today??? ![]() ![]() S. |

I made it through my livestock show DD with no problems and I am at 2pm and haven't eaten yet other than coffee with HWC for breakfast. I am not hungry so I am going to wait until I am really hungry before having my potatoes. So my DD is a 5 at this point.
Still off diet cokes and I think I can keep off of them if I set my mind to it although I have quit before. Don't smoke or drink so that is or was my main vice. Now what am I supposed to do for a vice?

4.5 Just had lunch and will probably have a 25 calorie soup for dinner. My DDs lately have been around 235 calories with no problems.

Stacy-- I used either atkins, or these other ones I got at costco-- the lowest carb I could find, b/c I didn't want bloat from sugar/carbs to interfere in weight and hunger issues.
DH does shakes every DD for 1 meal, and then eats the other with me. So, I've not done slim fast, but IMO, if they're not too sugary, I don't see why not. fwiw, a lot of people prefer real food, even on induction. The book suggests shakes b/c it makes things so simple while you're just starting DDs. |

Stacy, I used the Atkins shakes the first 3 DD's. Then, when I read that some people here ate real food instead of the shakes, I jumped on board! It makes it more difficult in regards to counting calories; but for me, it was more satisfying. The decision is yours!

Thank you friends for the advice...I think tomorrow I will try one as my lunch and then have real food for my dinner meal.....i know tomorrow will be my first real test,,,,I am having a bday party for Dr Seuss at work tomorrow for the kiddos, and not letting that tempt me will be testing....but I will be ready.....hope u all are having a great sunday <3

I'm giving it a solid 5. Great DD so far. I've had 210 calories and will allow up to 500, if I feel like it. Right now I'm having a cup of hot black tea with cream and splenda. Just got out of a long, hot relaxing shower and I'm feeling fine.

Great DD here too. Its 4:30 and I've had at the most 100 calories. I sauteed shredded cabbage, mushrooms & red pepper and put chipotle seasoning on it. Ate a bowl for lunch and will have more for dinner...and add a bit of ground beef to get some protein in. Hoping to come in under 500...no problem.
