Today was a low 3. Freezing cold feet all day was hungry all day too, didn't give in, but didn't like the feeling.
Ate about 450 calories from 7pm on. Very much looking forward to tomorrow.

I'm having a lovely DD. 1 T. cream in coffee for 100 calories, everything else no-calorie fluids. I was actually in a better mood and less distracted by hunger not eating than when I've eaten close to 500 food calories on many days. I'm going to try to keep up this fluids plus a little fat on my DDs for a while and see if it continues to feel workable and if it pays off on the scale.

I still haven't been able to do only liquids. 3:00 comes and i give in. Have had 90 calories so far, and plan on doing salad and yogurt for dinner. Started cleaning out my garage today, it got messier rather than getting cleaner. Am planning on waking up early in the am to finish it up.

The usual coffee with fat free milk this morning, then a bit of left over greek yogurt with blue berries around noon. I'd hoped to finish the rest of the day with liquids only but caved and had pickles, deli ham and a touch of cream cheese. Only about 85 calories but very satisfying. Now I'm back on hot liquids and my bone broth is starting to become quite fragrant. I sampled a bit and its really not bad. I think I may try some more tonight.
I'm at 224 right now. Technically have another 200 to play with but I'm gonna try to not use them up.

Tough DD today. I was really hungry and weak feeling almost right off the bat. Ate a turkey sandwich from Jimmy Johns (no mayo) and felt better, but was grumpy with myself for caving in so early in the day. Had a tangerine mid-day, and some tuna and broccoli for dinner, so it was good calorie-wise, but not the nice low numbers and ease I've been feeling on DDs for so long.

Probably a 2. Ready for this day to be over and looking forward to my up day tomorrow. Humph.

Ended up adding a bit of bone broth, a few pecans and 2 big bites of the banana my son didn't finish. So under 350 and I am SO looking forward to tomorrow. Even though its only 7:40, everyone is in bed (well, hubs is at work) so I'm hoping some book & warm blanket time will help me get off to sleep & ignore my belly (which is complaining...)

I have a lot of respect for everyone who is losing very slow but still hanging in there and JUDDDing. What this WOE means for each of us, I have learned here, can be so different from one end of the spectrum to the other.

There are those who start off having to bite the bullet and suffer through a few DD;s in the beginning but then they relax into a rhythm that has its ups and downs, but steadily heads down the scale. Carly, Dawn, Adi all come to mind. You and so many others have kept me going, seeing proof that this WOE works, is a healthy lifestyle, and for so many of us, knowing "we can have it tomorrow" helps us eek through the DD's.

And some of us have to struggle through most DD's and are so thankful when bedtime comes and the next day will ease up and we can eat "normal".

The day to day dynamic of this woe is so different for each of us. I really think it takes some of us longer to tweak and adjust UD's and DD's to get them in that rhythmic easygoing routine. Some of us hit the mark in a few days or weeks, others it takes a few months. So the great news is that by keeping up with calories up calories down, eventually it will turn into pounds lost.

How quickly or slowly that happens is as different, pretty much, as each of us are.

I was a 5 all day! Just coffee and water until we went out tonight. I had a Cobb salad and a beer, then switched back to water
Looking forward to a controlled UD tomorrow
I feel as though the last couple of UDs have been a little too Up!

I have only done a liquid DD one time. My late afternoon I was miserable and couldn't stop thinking about food. I stuck with it and went to bed early. And got up early the next day and had a wonderful breakfast.

And I'm in the middle of cleaning the two back bedrooms, throwing stuff out and reorganizing. You should see the messes I've got back there.

I guess cleaning will be good exercise anyway...lol.

Yippeee a DD on Superbowl Sunday! I'm guessing I may be alone on this today....well, I'm sure there are others of you that don't watch the game or go to the parties, so
DD going well so far, still early though. Must plan what I'll be eating for dinner, no ideas yet.

zagnut, you aren't alone! DH & I are having DD's as well. We aren't huge Super Bowl fans.......so it won't be difficult.

So far, a 5.

DD for DW and I. We don't care for football and are just relaxing all day!
It's a 5 so far, but no energy today. That probably isn't bad since I need to just relax and chill, which I might not do if DD energy was abundant.

4 for me. I feel upbeat and energetic, and have had some fermented veggie salad and a tablespoon of cream in tea. A little hungry, but I tell myself that hunger is not an emergency and move on.

New to this too, what a supportive group!

4 for me but was feeling a little light headed in the afternoon. Had some oats and felt OK! Even exercised for couple of hrs! Was craving something sweet but more in the head than hunger! So talked myself out of it! Ended the day with just under 500 cal.
Looking forward to tomorrow, LOL! JD

A 5 for me so far.

Body Combat class first thing, I love to exercise on an empty stomach, always gives me high.

Came home and fancied an egg, we have some straight from the hen at present and they are soooo delicious.

So I am planning a boiled egg day today.

I tried to eat lower calorie items to satisfy my snacking addiction

Doing fine today, not as hungry as last DD - I'd rate it 5!

Kinda bummed the local stores seem to not be carrying the strawberry Kim's Magic Pops that I've come to love and depend on - ordered a 12 pack case from Amazon I figured if I eat 5/DD I can have most of them eaten by the end of the month, so that leaves two bags to freeze. Yes, I probably should have only bought a 6 pack, but the price was so much more per unit

Guess I'll have to order more of that Walden Farms Marshmallow dip. . . . it goes on top of the pop.

3 for me. Feeling just generally "meh" and I'm a bit hungrier than usual. I'll power through though and probably stick to less than 350 calories.

3. My DDs are rarely ever a 5. I've had 290 so far, so that doesn't leave much! I always get hungry at about 2 pm, and have to have a 100-150 Calorie snack, which makes me go over my calculated number by 150 at night. Try to make sure I don't go over 500 though, which I don't think I ever have, but come very close.

It's been a pretty good DD. I did eat two meals, sort of. I guess the first one was a snack, but a meal on DD lol. The second one was chicken, broccoli and a coconut bar for dessert. I'm still at under 500, so I'm done.

About a 4. Feeling very satisfied since adding the Glucomannan to my broth and shakes.
Has anyone else found this to be very filling on DDs? Any cons to using it?

Doing mostly ok. Managed to make it until about 7pm on coffee, tea & lemon water (my new absolute must have for making it through DDs). I caved and ate a baked potato (183) with some bone broth (5), sour cream (60) and shredded cheese (110) for a total dinner of 353. Still under my 440 limit for my DDs. I should be headed to bed soon, and if I feel like I need something else, bullion or tea to the rescue.
I had hoped I could make it all day without eating. Maybe next time!!

Jacci, I haven't gone clothes shopping yet, I have lost 20 pounds now but still am wearing the same clothes, just looser. Oh, and 1 pair of jeans that I would wear before I lost but had to wear a long shirt with, now I can wear with a normal shirt.
I'm so happy for you, can't wait to be 1 or 2 sizes smaller!

So far a 5 for me. I only had time for coffeefor breakfast with some flavored creamer stuff that is only 15 calories per T and I really like it. Just got in from outside chores since I had two different people picking up goats today so had no time to eat breakfast. Am doing a potato DD so I am cooking my potato for lunch in tomato juice. Determined to make 140 my high end bounce this month.
