Tay and Sven! I'm too new to have any advice, I'll be doing my first week's weigh in tomorrow. This morning didn't look encouraging, but it's after an UD so I'm taking it in stride!!Like LCG said, there are lots of other benefits to JUDDD. I hope the scale rewards you both with nice whooshes soon!! |

Thanks, JUDDD BUDDDs, for the good wishes and support. I do know that I feel calmer and more even-tempered doing JUDDD than not doing JUDDD, so I can count that as a good thing happening. There are probably other benefits that I can't fully see, and I'm not giving up. But I will try tweaking some (calorie levels, exercise, giving up dairy for a month, whatever) if I'm still stuck in the same place for a full six weeks. Until then, I'll just stay the course and try to be patient.

Pretty good DD so far. I'd even say a 5. VERY busy morning, with only iced tea. I just had a strip of bacon and my coffee 'n HWC and will have another 1/2 cup here in a bit. I have a little over an ounce and a half of cooked bacon for dinner (which is more than you would think!). I'm feeling very satisfied.

I really have no idea. Starving, so I'll give it around a 2, I guess. But good news (just found out I landed a new job), so that part gets a 5. Wishing I could celebrate the good news but can't -- another 2.
So, it's averaging a 3. |

I want to give encouragement to the slow losers. I am one of you. We should have our own secret handshake.
As much as I would LOVE to lose all my weight in a few months, it ain't gonna happen. I lost only about 2 lbs in Dec., 6 in Nov. (wow, lol), and 2 this month (barely), and the bouncing was all over the place, so half the month it looked as if I hadn't lost ANYTHING and in fact, may have gained. However, over 2 months time (as of Jan. 13), I have lost 10.8 lbs. It's getting on into Feb. and still at 10 lbs down, but slowly, slowly it's coming off. Hang in there with me!!!![]() Congrats Rayne on your new job!!!! Fantastic news!

Yep...I've lost and regained the same 2 pounds all month. Why? I'm powerless lately (with all the stress) against DDs. They're averaging around 800-1000 cals, which turns out to be maintenance level. So, the good news is: maintenance works! ![]() ![]() Quote:

Was a 2 but a 5 before bed. I consumed 690
, but I burned 350 in class today, so hopefully no gain tomorrow. I will try to stay a little under tomorrow, maybe 1700 instead of 1800.Has anyone else's done this with any success? ![]() |

Seriously, some of the folks on here in maintenance now lost very slowly as well, but they still got to their goals. That's what we have to remember. At this rate, our bodies can slowly get used to the weight loss and adjust accordingly. I do believe it's harder to keep off if lost too quickly too. |

Carly Hopefully the warmer weather helps you sleep better tonight. You look fantastic in your new Avi! Woke up to a balmy 60 degree temp. here this morning, so I'll be doing a DD of meal replacement shakes. Hope that helps me to see a new low on my official weekly weigh in tomorrow. I definitely look & feel slimmer, so the scale has got to show some loss eventually. ![]() Best wishes for a progressive DD JBs! Last edited by SlimNana; 01-30-2013 at 06:00 AM.. |

Putting 5:2 on hold and going back to regular JUDDD rotations until I get the bounces lower. DD starting out bad, I have a headache bordering on a migraine. Hoping it doesn't turn into that.
Other than the headache, everything is ok, not even cold today lol. |

That's wonderful news!! Where will you celebrate tomorrow? How exciting!! and nerve wracking!! Quote:
Libraryg-that's a good average loss! Good for you keeping it in perspective! It's hard when you're hoping/expecting to see that scale drop, or even when you compare to others who seem to lose so quickly and effortlessly. The only comparison that really matters is where you used to be, and where you are now! You're doing great!! DD today. I got up early w. dh and hit the gym. That's 2 days of exercise in a row! A lot for me!! I'm working out tomorrow too. Whew! I'll be sore! I'm doing well hunger wise today, so far. Had my coffee/hnh, water, and took my resvers. and ptero. Hope for an easy, satisfied day! Having come from a few rounds of hcg, I'm spoiled by quick losses. It's an extreme approach (3 weeks of all DDs) but effective. I would love to get that type of loss in twice that time w/ JUDDD (same # of 500cal days, but not as torturous or hard on the body as 3 weeks straight, KWIM?). So, if I lose 10lbs in a typical hcg round, if I can manage to lose 10lbs in 6 weeks of JUDDDing I'll call that even. That's about 1.5lbs a week. Many do that on JUDDD, right? I'm off to slow start but it's probably from exercise. That should subside and allow the scale to start dropping soon. I'm planning on success! We can do it!! 1 day at a time!

I woke up to a slight loss this morning (165.8), so I am pretty happy with results. I wonder if I should do 450 UDs when I exercise heavy that day? I want to be sure to get enough protein, but also want to loose fat lbs not muscle... . |

This will be my first under 200 calorie DD. It wasn't as bad as I would have thought, but I was hungry and tired. I'm really looking forward to an UD tomorrow. I'm trying to do a JUDDD-style fat fast, so I'll be having a lot of cream in tea and macademia nuts tomorrow.
Thanks, everyone, who posted about slow losses or stalls. It makes not losing anything for over 3 weeks a little easier to take, knowing I'm not alone. |

I know how hard you are working. It will pay off, it HAS to! And nice job on 200 calories, I've never gone that low I don't think LOL Let us know how the fat fast works on hunger, been thinking of trying that too to see if it made a difference.Headache went away thank heavens, so day turned into a 4. Really looking forward to tomorrow's UD, though, just alot hungrier today than usual. |

DD is a 5 for me today. No solid food, just some milk in my tea. DH and I plan a movie date tonight. I love movies on DDs. Some people would be driven crazy by the smell of popcorn, but I like it, and the movie is a nice distraction.
Hoping for a nice low weigh-in tomorrow. First time I've been on a scale in a few weeks. Last night was not pretty, but it was the end of an up day so I have big hopes for tomorrow. |
