Turned out to be a great day, I'm changing it to a 5! I've had about 3 servings of Progresso light soups, and 2 Wasa crackers. Lots of energy and almost no hunger (after a rough morning).

I really need a good DD today. We got back from Tahoe Thursday and then my DD asked me to keep her 3 kiddles for the weekend. I ended up sleeping on an air bed because my 3 year old DGS insisted on sleeping with Grandpa.
Boy, am I tired today. I have to pack for the Hawaii trip. I'm too tired to even pack my suitcase today. Of course, I've got to put the house back together and have to catch up on tons of laundry. Hopefully I won't have time to think about food. Can't wait to just be on Waikiki beach with nothing to do but play in the ocean. I'm not going to rate the DD yet. I'm still having my morning coffee. I think I'll drink the whole pot!!!

4.5 here. Ate a kiddies sandwich with a soya late at around 4pm, 200 cals. Toss up between a big, slow baked tomato with anchovies or just some soup. Either way under 300 for the day. |

Started well but was unusually hungry by 1pm, and had a Ryvita with a light cheese triangle and a smear of mustard. Hungry again not long after, so only a 3 for me this afternoon.
HOWEVER, I had my first encounter with shirataki noodles for dinner. With a generous helping of spicy home-made tomato/veggie sauce and a sprinkling of grated cheddar, I was stuffed and it was only about 160 cals! Just waiting to see how long the noodles last before bedtime but I've 74 cals left over for supper. ![]() Definitely elevated to a 5. Last edited by Flossyliz; 09-17-2012 at 11:13 AM.. |

I guess I'm gonna say "4" cause I don't feel all energetic. Haven't been hungry so far...and it's past 3:30pm! Our bods sure are craaaaazy!!

Close to 1pm, and I'm just starting to get hungry. Might try and push it until 1:30 or 2 for my first snack (really can't call 150 calories a meal, lol) Not real energetic, but that probably has more to do with only getting 4 hours of sleep. I'll give today a 4 so far, we'll see how it goes toward evening.

For the first time in weeks, I've been about to chew my arm off all day. It's going to be all I can do to stay under 600 calories today.

![]() and it is only 7 pm... and I have had 615 cals, already 15 over. I worked in my office today vs. other DDs at home, and I don't have as much choice there... ended up having some pork jerky with cucumber which I think was overspending, calorically, vs. how filling it was. need to buy some coleslaw shreds and have more volume/bulk, and bring more food from home on the next DD in the office. time for a tea or something to see if this grumbly tummy can settle. so 3. |

Mine got worse. I was doing okay at 440 calories, then went to rehearsal, where a friend presented me with a Starbucks skinny latte (100 calories) as a thank-you gift. Sweet, but dammit.
I had intended to save my few remaining calories for a snack when I got home. But she was standing there and I felt like I had to drink it. And then I broke down and snagged a 45 calorie cookie at the break. So I'm at 600 calories, it's bedtime, and I'm hungry. I hate that. |

That's a lot of 4's and 5's! I'm impressed!
My DD yesterday was a complete fail (my first complete fail, which I guess isn't a bad track record). I've often wondered... I know some of you are in the performing arts and perform on DD's... how does that work for you? Do you find it affects your performance, especially at night? I don't think I could handle that personally, but I seem to handle DD's worse than most other people. |

4 + Had coffee this morning and then the hardest workout ever. I felt like I was on some kind of high. (in a good way)
![]() Was not hungry after that at all, but could not through away my little one's half eaten banana, so had that... Had the loveliest bowl of miso soup and jello for lunch. My stomach is growling nou ROAR!!! but I like it!!!! Now I am mobilizing and burning fat. Hardest part of my DD is preparing dinner for the kids. ![]() Think I will have some salad. ![]() |

Normally my down days are easily on a 4 to 5 scale. But today is tough. I'm still adjusting to the man working from home and I have a buttload of work to do today and he keeps wanting my attention and for me to do things for him. I have laundry going, but I'm seriously considering leaving the house and hitting the library just so I can get work done. But I like to stay home on my down days so I have more control. Ugh!

I woke up hungry, so I know today's going to be a rough one. Usually I don't get hungry until 10:00 a.m. or so and I can push it to lunch time at 1:00 p.m. We shall see how this day pans out.
