Haven't been in here in awhile! Right now, I'm a 5. I didn't bring a thing with me to work, so I've only had coffee or tea with cream. I'd love to begin having all my DDs where I only drink coffee or tea. My downfall is when I get home if I don't get involved in something right away. Much easier here at work where there is nothing to eat unless I brought it!

So far so good. I'm looking forward to my dinner and will have only hot lemon juice until then. Well, I did pick a few mushrooms from my dinner as I was preparing it, but that's all counted. (I get my dinner all ready in the morning after dropping my son off at preschool so I'm not so rushed in the evening and can enjoy it more.) Snacking on vegetables doesn't spike my hunger, but I finish up just a little fruit form my daughter's high chair table tray, I'm toast. And I'm very pro fruit and all, but if I'm not going to have a big meal, I have to stay away from it.
It's going to be a 500 calorie day, so that's 150 above what I should do, assuming light exercise and 20%, but I'm just trying it for now. Next down day, I'm going to try to just fast.

Not a bad day today. Nudging a 5. No real hunger feelings, although I'm looking forward to my dinner for sure - hot homemade turkey soup!

Homemade chicken & dumpling soup here. Yum! (minus the dumplings for me, of course)

DD is about a 4. It's probably b/c I have a cold, though. I'm hungrier today.

prolly a 4-5. I was sitting here at work and someone said something about hungry, and that's when I realized, I wasn't hungry at all.
However, after that word went into my brain I got hungry. Go figure. So I went off plan a little bit and had 2 crackers for 34 calories. I have 156 left for the day.

Not off plan at all, you had the calories and used 'em.

I am doing ok. Two ptero and still feel hungry, plus I've had 373 calories already. Terrible mistake having coffee when I got home thinking it would help. Not only did it not help but now I'm 130 calories short.

Ending my DD with a 4...had 403 cals today, but I figure I burnt all of those off when I worked out this morning. Going to bed a little hungry, but welcoming my pillow!

Good DD today. Probably a 4. Had a turkey sandwich and some corn for dinner, after a 50-minute walk. Not too shabby.

5 for me. 319 calories so far, from half and half in coffee, 2 boiled eggs, and 1 light baby bonabel cheese. I'm probably going to have some homemade chicken broth when I get home (it's below zero and a half hour walk to get home), then do a resistence training workout. One of my easiest down days yet, and makes me feel better about my UUAD yesterday.

Guess mine turned out to be a 5. I have had nothing but 1 egg and my coffee with HWC for breakfast and that was it. I have been too busy all day birthing babies. My goats all decided to kid today so I stayed home from work and walked back and forth all day. The last one was a rough one and DH had to help and we are almost ready to feed the last three and then I am going to bed. I am tired. Then up at 5 in the morning to feed the babies, milk and go to work. I love kidding season.

I know it sounds silly, but it is exciting to attend the births and hope for does and then YES, it is a doe and then the different colors since LaManchas can be any color or colors. Then each one is the next grand champion in my eyes. I had a little buck born last week that is lavender and I would LOVE to have a doe that color. He is beautiful.

Adi, there is something magical about the birth of any new life. I loved it when we used to allow our cat to breed.

I am having a wild 5 today!

Zumba, house cleaning, cupboard sorting, catching up with mail and still finding time for my JUDDD BUDDDs!

Soya latte, one broth and probably 200 cals of something before the theatre tonight.

Yesterday's DD was a 6! I decided to switch to 5:2, but didn't make that decision until I'd already skipped breakfast and had my normal DD lunch. Keira's school had a fundraiser at a pizza place and I ended up having 3(!) pieces of Hawaiian pizza for dinner. I came in at a little over 800 calories, but then burned 600 at Zumba, so I'm still considering it a DD.

For a day that started out crummy, with a doctor's visit that didn't go as planned, it shaped up to be an excellent day.

Adi, I'm so jealous! I've never seen anything born other than a giraffe, though that was pretty exciting. I'm thinking some pictures are in order!

She was a C-section baby so I didn't get to see the actual birth. Then they showed her to me and took her and DH back to my room while I was in recovery. I saw her for all of 2 seconds, then didn't see her again for a couple of hours. She'd already been fed, cleaned, etc (and I'm still mad about them feeding her--she never took to breastfeeding)!

DH, DMIL, pretty much everyone who came to the hospital got to hold her before I did. I'm not bitter or anything.

Tough though. I couldn't breast feed either, Down's babes often have trouble and then, the day they told me, my milk just dried up.

It's early yet, but I have a plan!
Just drinking liquids (water, hot tea and some coffee) and I'll have vegetable soup about 5:00.
Thats the plan!

Thats awful the nurses did that. They are suppose to ask you if you're breastfeeding! I think I would've flipped out.

She was born on December 22 (we were discharged Christmas Eve) and the hospital was on skeleton crew for the holiday. Nobody bothered to ask me, and I didn't think to say anything. I was pretty ticked off. I pumped for a few months, so she still got breastmilk, but it was a PIA.
