I think I messed up guys
![]() I was doing fine all day. Waited until dinner to have anything and then had some beef stir fry. That all by itself is a little high in calories but then I had a slice of pound cake. Fail. I'm trying not to beat myself up about it but I'm a little bummed and now looking forward a little less to my UD tomorrow 'cause I feel like I shouldn't get to have an UD when I kind of screwed up my DD ![]() |

Agree with Dawn on this, Luv. Unless you simply cannot eat all your calories tomorrow, don't punish yourself by eating too little. You might set yourself up for another bad DD if you do. Move forward and chalk it up to experience!

I had a bad day today. I would rate it a 2 at best. Ate over my 414 calores by 100, and felt sick all day unless I would eat. I have had days where I was hungry before, but never felt sick from it. Maybe there is something else brewing? Does anyone think it could be the ptero making me feel like that??

My DD was about a 3.5. Was feeling kinda hungry and needing distraction so went for a walk. It was cold and about halfway through the walk, felt a drop in energy and mood, unusual for me. Went to the store and bought and ate an orange, hoping the fructose would help give my blood sugar a boost, in case that was the problem. It helped, a little, but not great. Made it back home and had a turkey sandwich. I'm sitting at about 225 calories and I think I can be done for the evening, so that was a success, anyway.
But that walk may not have been the best idea ever... ![]()

About a 2. After two UDs in a row, I was beyond ravenous all day today. Still am. Went over by almost 200 cals, and to be honest I would give anything for about 200 more. Stomach keeps growling at me, no amount of fluids will shut it up.

Today was a 2.5 for me.
Stuff I wasn't planning on eating: blackberries, I don't know how much ... 2 cups? 12-15 cashews (aaak!), a small spoon of almond butter, 1/3 of a sweet potato? I also had a bunch of almond milk, which is what I was planning on having. I was definitely hungry from tasting the blackberries in the morning. I know by now that I need to just not ingest anything but hot lemon water on DDs until late afternoon, and then eat only whatever I've planned to eat. Nothing else. Not a total fail, but I can do better. I think I'll experiment with making a big vegetable soup for my next down day, with lots of low calorie vegetables and no added fat so I can just eat, eat, eat. And try to save that for the late afternoon. I was so annoyed with myself that I was grumpy with my kids, but now I'm over it. My weekly weigh in is tomorrow. |

Very well today from the start, a 5. I think the vitamin/mineral powder I'm putting in water is really helping, tons of energy and it's flavored enough to 'feel' like calories, but zero calories. And I've been drinking twice the water, so I'm sure that's helping my mood, but the trips to the bathroom are getting ridiculous :P
Just posted in the menu DD plan about having protein and salad tonight for dinner, but thinking maybe I'll try a sweet potato? not sure yet, just thinking out loud lol. |

I'm actually feeling good in a couple ways today.
Better rest from my blasted cold, last night (thank-you, honey. Who knew? oh ya, everyone except me ). I'm still a bit tired, but that could be from melatonin that I take to help sleep. I think I can back-down on the dose, now that I know I can sleep.Anyway-- under all that, I'm feeling some DD energy! yay! FINALLY, first time all year!I'll give it a 4.5, only b/c I am a bit hungry, but need to have a good DD, so I'm working on that really hard. S.

My DD was going great until I ate a big glop of cookie dough while making cookies for the family
That's probably an extra 100 calories I wasn't planning on, but I still should be under 500 for the day, if I can stay away from the made cookies now ![]() |

Having a 5 day - modified potato hack with some protein. I have been doing those the past week on DDs and allowing calories to creep up to as much as 800 or 900 and am still losing. Not dropping a ton but IT IS MOVING. No hunger or cravings when I do this. Stay tuned.

I am having an incredibly HUNGRY day!!! I'm already at 370 calories and still have to do dinner.... I think the next DD I will try that potato idea, if I can find small potatoes.
Now I'm sitting here at my desk trying not to eat one of my Russell Stover candies! 80 calories..... can't do it! |
