A 5 so far. I had a latte this morning. I feel like milk helps me stay fuller longer. Heating up some spicy tea now and hoping to have a potato and some fish for dinner around 7????

Having a great DD so I am giving it a 5. Had my potato soup for lunch and made enough for dinner too so I will just have to heat and eat.

4 so far. I've had coffee with 2 T. cream, 2 ounces of light cheese, and 2 hard-boiled eggs already, which is a lot of my food for the day. But I did get in 50 minutes of resistance and stretching exercise before work and that may be making me hungrier. Just green tea and water for me for a while now ...

Hmmmm, for me, today seems to be 4 or 4.5. Feet and hands are freezing - this happened last dd. . . . need to dig up the wool socks dh gave my Sunday after watching me shiver all day. Does shivering burn calories, lol?

Yes it does, Luv!! The Calories Burned From Shivering | LIVESTRONG.COM

My DD is going well although I feel a bit strangely from not eating almost nothing all day so far. Kind of like a crack addict must feel, I imagine. I am up to 200 calories though, because I did eat a piece of turkey (50), coffee this morning (30) and now a large coffee with light cream and SF vanilla syrup (120).

You're doing great today Cindy! I'm still at about 14 calories, but getting ready to go heat up some broth and salsa con queso. Yum!

Where did you get the salsa con queso, or did you make it? I need some!

Wow, Librarygirl, I had no idea! Thank you for the link! Here are a couple of interesting excerpts:

When shivering, you can burn up to 400 calories per hour, according to the website That's Fit.
Above and beyond shivering, your body may burn 3 to 7 percent additional calories to warm the air that enters your lungs and to reheat your skin that is cooled by cold air, according to Platkin.

Guess I won't complain about the house being cold!

I buy it at the grocery store, the one I'm using now is Tostitos. I also got a couple of jars at Target of their brand, but haven't tried it yet. I'm assuming it'll be the same. I had my "soup" for lunch and a diet Dr Pepper (unusual for me) and feeling very satisfied.

My DD is about a 2 so far. Emotional eating is trying to rear it's ugly head. EVERYTHING in the kitchen is calling my name. DH is about to take me out for a drive so I can get away from the kitchen.

One thing is for sure: I will not "waste" calories on a flavored coffee again. I would have been just as satisfied with a diet soda for 0 calories. I'm really having to be creative in order to have something for dinner! I will post my tuna croquettes recipe in the DD recipes if it turns out well (90 calories for the whole thing!).

Luna, I hope the drive helps you to feel better.

awww, so sorry the coffee didn't help, LG! That usually works for me so I'll splurge on some starbucks on a DD if needed.

I'm having a 5 today and I am OVER the moon about it! I have missed those 5's! (I swear I've been in negative numbers the past 3 or so, haha!)

Very good down day. Is it a scale from 1-5? If so then mine is definitely a 5. Woohoo! Think I found the perfect DD dinner. 10 nice chilled shrimp w/lemon juice and cocktail sauce along with 3 nicer sized waffle fries with a dab of ketchup. Only 150 calories. DIVINE

Mine was a solid 5. Hardly any hunger at all, all day. And I do believe this was my lowest cal DD yet, at 394. And I had a slice of pizza. I love JUDDD so much!

Feeling a 4ish today I guess. I'm sad on one hand but happy on the other about somethings going on with my parents today. The headache seems to set in later about the time I go home from work. BUT I cannot let it stop me! My work participates in Virgin Healthmiles program and today is the last day of a challenge and I need 7000 steps today to meet the goal. I left my peodmeter at home so will have to get the full 7000 when I get home! Plan on doing a walk away the pounds dvd and some just dance on the wii! Hope it pans out!!!

Feeling a bit off and shaky today so I'll call it a 2. Not terribly hungry though so I might just be coming down with something so can't really blame it on the low cals.

Oh no TJ!

for a DD, it's pretty ok. On and off hunger, and not a clue what to make for dinner (my one meal). And of course, I have the plague.

I'll give it a 4.5

400 calories an hour! The office I work in on T and TH has been with out heat since 1/2/13. I shiver for 9 hours straight, but I'd be a toothpick if I was burning 3600 calories 2x per week in addition to all the other shivering I do on DDs!

My DD is a 5! I had a cup of cheery cherry tea at 6:30am and at 7:45pm I had 4oz of lettuce with 10 spritzs of wish bone dressing= 24 calories.

I have to get ready for bed soon so I can have my bedtime snack.

I think my genies kicked in. Had nothing but coffee and almond milk all day and it's now almost 11pm. Didn't even have hunger pains or think about food. I ran on the treadmill this morning, too. My stomach is just now starting to growl. But I made it to 24 hours with fasting I think that's a first for me.
Going to eat some chicken and green beans to end the day at a 5.

I'd say 5 so far. I've been crazy busy, crazy energetic, and getting a ton done! So busy I haven't even thought of eating until just now, when I read that darn candy thread!

I'm going to try to make it until dinner, when I can have scrambled eggs. That'll keep my nice and satisfied all evening.

You day sounds great LCG! Yay!

I'd say mine's a 4. Doing great foodwise, have had 1 hb egg, 2 turkey sausage, water, and coffee with 1 tsp CO.

But I'm a little stressed because I'm trying to meet a deadline for a project I'm working on and I've been dragging my feet. I should probably go outside for a walk....especially since its not raining right now.

To be continued....lol

First DD this week and I'll give it a 4. I ate more than I had intended as I had to sit waiting for DH in a cafe where they make the most delicious sandwiches, I caved and had a tuna mayo.

Probably 600 cals for the day
