4?
I'm hungrier today than I've been in a week... maybe that's me starting to heal from this cold? Or not taking as much cold medication, which tends to suppress hunger... ?

But, I had some carrots, and dinner is right around the corner. Maybe I'll have a cup of broth to tide me over.

Anyway-- I weighed today, which I don't usually do, and I think I'm on track for a bit of loss tomorrow, so that's keeping me motivated.

It had been a 5- but all of a sudden I'm hungry and I'm not usually hungry at 5pm. I had half a mug of broth- maybe I'll have another half or a few ounces of pickles...

A 3.5 for me. Headachy day & my OH cooked, which was hard to resist. I managed til about 8.30 when I had a piece of chicken. No major big deal and it fixed my head for a little while.

Was out for the afternoon and didnt get my water in. On the plus side, was at a kiddie birthday party and nothing other than a black coffee passed my lips! The party prob explains the headache too

Now to sleep and hopefully wake headache-free.

After yesterday's UUAD, I would have thought that I would be fine until at least after noon. Well, I have alot of chicken broth, freshly made, so that will be on my menu today. Maybe chunk up some chicken breast for protein.

Crunch on celery while watching Baltimore play Denver later. Go Ravens!
My DD went according to plan and ended up a 5. And Baltimore won!!!!

So far a 1. I woke up starving this morning with a headache so I am trying to fight it with coffee with HWC. Now I feel nauseus but I am going to eat my egg anyway. Maybe that will help. Then I will get busy and not think about food until after lunchtime. Onward.

Hope you feel better now, Adi. I give this day a 4. I'm just a bit hungy and I'm at 350 calories, doing the potato hack. It feels like I've had less than 50 calories all day. I hope with my next meal the appetite supression everyone else seems to get from potatoes happens to me!

THE BEST DD I have had so far. The only food I have had is a Coco Pop with laughing cow. 51 cals. I attribute the hunger suppression to the ptero. I did have a bullet proof coffee this morning (a waste of calories, I think).

Well, it is mid afternooon and I can change to a 4 1/2. After breakfast I was fine so it has gone uphill from there. Had lunch around 1pm and not hungry at all now. I still have to rely on gluc with my broth and potatoes to make it through. I really have never gotten any kind of appetite suppression from just potatoes. Wish I did though.

Glad you are feeling better, Adi. I'm giving my day a 3.5 so far, since I'm a bit hungry and have to work overtime and try to ignore the hunger.

So far:
Coffee with 1/4 cup half and half (50)
1 light mini babybel cheese (50)
Small salad with misc raw veggies and some dressing (200 maybe?)
I think this is going to be a 500 calorie DD for me ...

On the up side, I got in a long yoga and resistence training workout this morning.

Sorry you felt grim Adi, but glad you are okay now.

Lou, a kiddies party would do it for me. I'd have been drinking neat gin!

I had a 5, full of DD energy, my house is gleaming. I am ashamed to tell you what I ate.

One soya milk coffee 85, one cup of Bovril 10, 2 glasses Pinot Grigio 200. it wasn't planned that way honest, it just happened. As I really, genuinely wasn't hungry after the wine, I just haven't eaten...

5+

I've had nothing to eat all day. It's almost 11 pm and I'm going to bed soon. The only calories at all were a few tablespoons of milk added to my tea. Waaaaay less than 100 calories total. I even sat with people eating dinner and candy and wasn't even tempted. Yay!

I only did one potato DD and it was pretty miserable. I know I didn't give it enough time, but JUDDD works well enough for me where the PDDs just weren't worth it to me.

Starting out at a 2. Feeling really hungry today and it's pretty early yet. Hopefully it will get better, maybe I'll grab a hard boiled egg if I can't hold out until tonight.

Well my dd started without electricity.
At 10:30am gave in and opened the fridge, garbed a boiled cold potato!
I'm not into the potato only as food for the day.
But glad I had that cold tater to hold me. If ur older, u have have heard the expression, take a cold potato and wait...that's what I did, worked fine, thank u power company.
Something about cold broth, not a good thought.
Power came on at 11:30a.. now it's going to be a # 5 for my dd.

I've gone from a 2 to a 1. I'm freezing, have the chills and a bad headache now. I ate the egg and some peanuts. Don't think this is DD related though, kind of feels like I'm in the beginning stages of the flu...hope not!

Good that you weren't w/out power too long EI.

My day is a 4 so far. I'm very tired, but coughing a bit less, blowing the nose a lot less. Still, crazy tired.

Not that hungry or anything, and drinking tea to try to warm up.

The DD part is going fine, but having two kids home from sick today and being OUT of diet coke which is my only caffeine source is making this a totally crappy day I have to pick up my not-sick daughter from school in a couple hours and then I'm driving through McDonalds to get a large diet coke lol.

Going good so far. It's a glucomannan kinda day for me - breakfast was a gluc pudding made with 1 cup of 30-cal almond milk, a tsp of gluc and a packet of orange crystal light. Tasted kind of like a creamsicle. Then I made Buttoni's awesome glucomannan http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lo...dumplings.htmlto add to my lunch veggie soup. These are going to be a lifesaver for me on my hungry days. Put it all together and so far I've had under 200 calories. I only ate about 1/3 of the batch of dumplings and plan to have the rest for dinner and maybe my evening snack. Mmmmm!

So is this a scale of 1 - 5?

If so my day started out around a 4. I was tired today I guess b/c I'm on my 7-4 week. One week a month every 3 weeks I have to work 8-5 so I get an extra hour of sleep! Plus last week (8-5) I was sick so was getting 8-9 hours of sleep. Last night only 6.5. So I will be in bed by 9 tonight! I have my needs and happens to be a big one!

Anyhoo - Been headachy since around 4pm. Had a small Wendy's chili for dinner thought of you Dawn! You look amazing! Took a goody powder and still headachy. Wanted to do at least 4 songs on just dance but not sure it will happen or I may force it and then go to bed. Not hungry at all. Got in about 600 calories on my 2nd DD since returning to Juddd this week. I have missed it although it can be tough but I feel so good on it! Plus slacking off since September I have gained about 15 pounds! Ugh!!! Getting it in control now and don't plan on ever letting that many come back!

Excellent news, Shari!!

My DH began JUDDD when I did (like he had a choice in the matter ), and he's been doing as well as, or better than, I've been doing.

My day has been between a 4 and 5 -- 4 for the brain fog, 5 for the total calm and lack of urgent hunger.

Noon-ish and a bit hungry. After my MD yesterday my stomach is grumbling. But I'll make it. Lots of chicken broth on my horizon as it is a really cold/wet day and supposed to get worse.

So a 3 so far.
