WOE: JUDDD for WL/5:2 IF for maintenance
Today is ending at a 3. Not bad, but not great either. I ate my calories up too fast and I'm fighting hunger tonight. I gave in and just had a cup of hot cocoa so my total calories for the day is 435. About 100 higher than I wanted to be at, but still under 500, so hopefully it won't make too much of a difference at tomorrow's weigh in. I lost two pounds at the beginning of the week but have stayed the same since then-would love to see some movement tomorrow

On a side note-I tried Milk of Magnesium since things haven't 'moved along' since Monday Did 1/2 dose last night and another 1/2 dose this morning and it did finally get things working I wonder if it was because of the potato hack I did last weekend If you're having 'issues' (a common complaint of weight loss), then you might want to give MoM a try-it wasn't anything drastic and didn't taste too horrible, just chalky.

Today is the end of my DD. Had a great day. Was busy and did not eat until dinner and that was soup. Looking forward to a good UD tomorrow.

A 5 today. Tried to go for a walk outside, it was above freezing, but very windy so turned back after about 4 minutes and gave up and went to the mall to walk. Walked about 30 minutes there.

Ate a turkey sandwich for lunch and quiche for dinner and came in under maintenance calories. Plan some Callanetics for later, we'll see if that actually happens, I need to get to bed early.

Anyway, good DD.

5 so far. Finally, a down day that I feel I have control of since the holidays. Before the holidays they were so easy, hope I can get back to that again.

Lee, I can relate. This is only my 2nd DD since the holidays and I was worried but at the end of my 2nd DD, I'm happy to say it feels like riding a bike. Long may the balance continue ;-) A 5.

A 4 - hungry and tired today. Doing a MD today and prepping for a potato day tomorrow (and maybe Tuesday and Wednesday as well, TBD). Had to abandon my planned workout due to a sore calf but did manage some pilates and some pushups and crunches.

DD a 3. Tried something new today because I felt sick, (I'm sure it had nothing to do with the wine yesterday) I ate some calories before noon, about 125 of them in coffee cream and half a can of soup. That has kept me going. Will have about 300 more later tonight with either small salad or tuna. Aiming for 450 or lower today

Solid 5 today. Right around 400 calories, mostly in the form of veggie soup. I still "spend" too many calories on my coffee - can't enjoy it black.

So far a 5! No headache this morning, since I didn't have any wine over the weekend. My body is sore from starting a new kettle bell exercise program, but hunger & energy levels are both good.

Did the same thing, Cindy, then abandoned MD for a UD after eating 8 chocolate chip cookies. Decided what the hell and had ice cream too. Yesterday, that is. Today I'm back on the wagon.

It's a 3 for me, but only because I'm sick. I'm amazed at how easy it's been to not eat anything on my past few DD's. I'm going to have a cup of broth in an hour or so, but don't expect to eat anything else until tonight when I'll have a cup of diet hot cocoa.

Still haven't achieved those days of mental clarity and euphoria people talk about though. Wouldn't mind it!

DD is a 4 so far - actually had some hunger pangs, haven't felt those since my first month of JUDDDing. Hoping this is a harbinger to a scale drop, been the same weight for the last week, despite pristine rotations.

About a 3.5. Woke up this morning in a serious funk, couldn't think of any reason I wanted to get out of bed, so I didn't, until much later. Have managed to drag myself around a bit and accomplish a little bit, but the funk is still around. I think some mindless TV might be called for.

Foodwise, not too bad. It's after 5:30 and I've had a turkey sandwich, about 130 cals, and some whole milk in my tea, maybe 60 cals. Planned dinner is grilled chicken and some broccoli. Will come in at about 500-600 calories, which is good since my up day yesterday was a bit over exuberant.

Hmmm, 4, I guess? Honestly, I am super hungry today. I'm sure it has to do with 3 days of barely eating (stomach flu) and then an UD yesterday where my body was just getting used to food again. I'll be glad for tomorrow's UD! Today I've had 45 cals of sf creamer in coffee, small chili and a few bites of steak from the kids' dinner. Should be ok calorie wise. Just water now and maybe a diet cocoa if I need it later. (brrrrr, I might just for warmth!)

My eating window has officially closed and it's been a 5 today I ate my calories between 2-7pm and I'm actually pretty full right now instead of being a bit hungry at night. I don't know if I'll do an eating window tomorrow since it's an UD (maybe try an 8 hour one, to spread the calories out a bit ), but I definitely see myself doing 5 hour windows on my DDs

Good luck with your tater day tomorrow. If you are used to your DD calorie allotment, you will be fine. I did my first PDD today and planned on eating to hunger, but ended up eating just below my normal DD calories. It was super easy for me, so I'm going to give it a 5!

Venting...

Tonight my friend came in to dinner for her dad's birthday (I manage at a restaurant) and I had planned a potato DD! I went to chat with them at the end of the meal and she had brought a cake I had seen her make that was a lot like one I did and she offered me a piece. I gladly accepted and asked politely if I could save it for the next day. To which she replied, "oh it's not going to kill you, I'll just cut you a sliver." And being that she was with the rest of her family I did not want to be rude and argue. It was just a sliver and about 120 cal worth but that is not the point!! She knows about my diet and how I feel about stuff like that! Plus I am doing the Potato DD and did NOT want any SUGAR/FAT etc!!! I am doing really well and wanted to stick to my plan for the day!! I know I am not completely derailed, but if we were to give in to EVERY occasion where would we be?? I just got over all the Holiday eating and want to see how well I can do with this now. I just feel cheated! Not overly mad or anything just irritated that she would react that way!
Had to get that out!!

Truffles - you have a right to vent on that one - she really put you on the spot! If she knows what you're doing, she should have just said "Of course, enjoy it tomorrow." People can be so weird about other people's diet plans. I'd be a little miffed in your place.

DD was a 5 today. I was super busy, and had so much energy, and got so much done! I had my coffee this morning, and didn't even think about eating until at least 4:00. I had a couple of slices of bacon, then saved the rest of it for dinner around 7:00. Am I back on track? Hopefully I'll see some loss tomorrow with TOM waning and a good DD under my belt!

Truffles, that would make me agitated too. I get that from certain people alot. They know how I eat and it feels like they try to derail me on purpose at times...In my case I think it's because they are resentful they don't have the willpower, at least that's what I tell myself so I can smirk on the inside

DD started at 5 and has been staying there. The oatmeal/blueberries has been working well for me as one of my meals, so will continue that. Also have greenbeans and roast beef lined up too. Under 400 cals. if all goes as planned!
