Congratulations on your first down day! Yes, they really do get easier. And they keep getting easier the longer you're doing this. I used to be able to muscle my way through DDs by fasting until 4 pm, and then I was dying to eat. Now I can fast until dinner time. It's almost 7 pm and I'm a little hungry and ready to eat, but in no way starving. Easy peasy.

Welcome to the dark side, where we diet only half the time!

Still a great DD, my best so far, so it's true they get easier. Ate oatmeal and blueberries around 8pm, will eat something else before bed, maybe tuna or something light. Will come in around 480 today since I used HWC in coffee.

Probably a 5. Had a great DD and I even went to the big grocery store in the next large town when we went to buy feed. Had breakfast and dinner but since I had homemade split pea soup I have no idea how many calories I had today. 175 for breakfast so I should be fine for the day.

My DD yesterday ended at 551, those 100 calorie bags of kettle corn are still in the pantry and they seem to call my name late at night. Is there such a thing as a pantry muzzle so you can't hear it?

Dd- going to be normal 5 for me.
Yesterday's UD was 2100 cal. Embarrassed. I didn't over eat anyone thing.
I just ate everything! Gosh is it Christmas again.

3.5 Sure wish I didn't have to start the first half of every DD with a headache. Not sure if it's low blood sugar or just a bit of a hangover from the glass of wine at UD dinners &/or just sugary carbs. I'm thinking I should try and limit both to just the weekend on my Sat. UD.

Feelin'good after a wierd start. Slept 8 hours last night (almost unheard of). Woke with the half of my head that I slept on scrunched, puffy and hurting. Apparently I didn't move all night. It all went away after about an hour and have felt great since.

Have todays 4 mini meals and snack planned out. Just need to stick to it. So far no major hunger at all. Must say DDs are much easier this week than before the holidays, though, I am starting higher and working my way down. The break plus going LC must have been good for me.

I'm having a lovely 5 DD, just very satisfying coffee with half and half and water so far.

Yesterday I did a little emotional eating because I had to push through writing a report at work that I've been procrastinating doing--so I ended up eating an unnecessary bunch of olives and an Atkins bar during the writing. When I got home, I told myself, "It's okay, I can snuggle into a lovely DD tomorrow"--and that's just the sort of great DD I'm having, upbeat and energetic and clear-headed. I really, really love how I feel on JUDDD and actually am looking forward to DDs more than UDs, which I never would have guessed at the outset.

Not sure how to score mine. Calorie wise - great, but here it is 4:30pm and I've only had about 50.

But I went to bed with a headache (the sick kind) and after pills, sleep, more sleep, more sleep -- still have it. Maybe too much sleep... Gonna try and eat something. Will check in later!

I'm having a hungry afternoon but no emergency. I strayed a little from my usual DD in that I have eaten breakfast and lunch, and hope to also have dinner. I think it's making me hungrier, but I am glad I have had the nutrients. Actually opened my bottom desk drawer and picked up a jar of chocolate almonds. I could taste them, lol, but put them back without opening it. Hope to end today with around 600 total.

Arlene, if it's a DD, no problem. Some people would envy you for not having any more cals than that, lol.

Another great DD, have had 2 in succession as Ive just had 3 UD's in a row...weigh in tomorrow, that will be interesting!! I would say todays DD is a 5, I do find DD's very easy when Im at work.

At nearly 600. Ate some creamed spinach for supper and it really killed the hunger beast. Trying to let that be it for today/tonight.

A 5, definitely. Had 2 babybels (100) in the afternoon, 2 rice cakes/light cows (140) about a half hour ago...and 189 cals to spare for later. Definitely need to start pushing fluids, I feel a little dehydrated.

I have done ok today.My hubby decieded to go out for lunch..salad bar just lettuce with cottage cheese on it and spooned some chicken enchilida soup on it for zip. I don't like my day changed around felt hungery after that. Salad with cc for supper still probably 500. my cal are 394..oh well tomorrow is another day and I feel really good!
