Ugh, Kristin, I'm plagued with a headache today, too. Left the house just to go get chili AND a skinny latte hoping a bit of food would help. Errrr, a little, but it's back now. Hope yours goes away quickly and takes mine along with it!!

A 4.5. It'll be a 370 calorie day for me if I don't eat my 4 ounces of chicken breast, and a 540 calorie day if I do eat that later. I've had only a little hunger and feel calm and peaceful and clear-headed, and I got in an upper body workout before work. Maybe I should call it a 5. My goodness, I'm still surprised at how lovely DDs can feel, but it is certainly great.

Well today has been an easy DD so it is a 5. Enjoying my faux cream of potato soup for dinner and then I well be finished for the day. Now if I can have a "normal" UD tomorrow I should be back to where I need to be.

Second good DD after Christmas piggishness. I'd give today a 5. I made cauliflower soup and forgot to measure who much cauli I used, but since the soup is mainly just cauli, celery and herbs I think I'm safe in estimating I ate no more than 200 calories' worth of it, for a total of just under 400 for the day. I'm still 2.5# up from my pre-Christmas low, though.

3.5 today. Starting to feel like myself again after holiday food fest. I wasn't sure I'd be able to get back into JUDDD, so I'm happy about that. I'll give it one more month to see how I like it since December didn't feel like a representative sample.

Busy day today, which is always good for me on a DD. Going to shoot for 400 or less. Starting at a 3, feeling hungry pretty early, but it will pass. We shall see how it ends up.

Started feeling ill last evening on a UD. Feeling a bit better this morning, but really hungry... Starting with an average 3 and some chicken broth that my dh made yesterday. Soooo glad he did. (we poach chicken for the dogs - thus the broth -- it is really good)

Feel good so far... I have fallen far away from rotations and need to get back on ASAP! Theres no better day to have an DD then the day before NYE ... tomorrow will be an UD with most of my calories coming from wine ... lol its only once a year

DD is a 5 so far ...will update back tonight!

A five for me so far. No hunger at all yet. Had coffee with HWC for breakfast. Will have faux cream of potato soup for lunch and dinner. Need to drink more water. I tend to forget in winter.

5 for me here too. I'm sipping my Apple Strudel** coffee w/HWC. Will have a cup for lunch as well. Then 3 HB eggs w/a touch of mayo and lots of mustard for dinner. Those egg days seem to be working, so I'll stick with them.

Adi, I'm so with you on the water. I NEED to be drinking more fluid all day long. Just not that thirsty in the cooler weather.

**yes Zagnut, I got my coffees and am so excited to try them all! Apple strudel is yummy w/sweetener and HWC. I'm so glad you mentioned it that one day! Thanks!

So far it's a 4, and I'm finding it much easier to manage a DD after eating high-fat LC for a few days. The hardest part was going grocery shopping this morning, knowing I'll have to wait until tomorrow to eat the lovely Edam cheese, dark chocolate, and other goodies I bought.

I started today with 2 scrambled eggs (cooked without fat), a wedge of Laughing Cow light cheese, and coffee with almond milk. Mid-morning I drank a cup of hot chicken broth. Later this afternoon I'm going to have 2 oz of turkey slices spread with mustard and rolled up in lettuce, a few ripe olives, and a pickle or two. I plan to skip dinner, and drink broth if I get too hungry.

I love home made chicken broth. It saves me every DD evening when my mind starts wandering toward the kitchen. The cubes or cartons just don't do it for me. It is very satisfying.

My DD is a 4so far. I am trying to just have liquids until late this afternoon. I want to really feel hungry before putting any food in my mouth. Then I will have a HB egg and two turkey sausage for 150 cal. Hope to finish the day with chicken broth, maybe some sf jello with a spoon of whipped cream. and lots of water.

4. I've had coffee with 1/4 cup half and half and an ounce of meat from the turkey wings I used to make bone broth. I'll be enjoying the broth later. If needed, I've got hard-boiled eggs, more turkey, and radishes, too, but for now, I feel great without eating more. It's just amazing to me how good my mood is on DDs, and I've only been doing JUDDD for 2 months now.

Been gone from all my JUDDD BUDDDs for too long!! Just ask my waistline.

Anyway, today is my 2nd DD back on track after far, far too many UUADs. I have fasted all day thus far. Thought I would have some veggie broth for lunch, but wasn't hungry. Just starting to feel hungry a little now. I think my dinner will be cheesy bacon chicken & cabbage.

Overall my day has been about a 4 1/2 so far.

Decided not to do a DD. I'm going to do what I had planned and have UD's until the 2nd. I may only do a MD today and tomorrow, but won't worry too much. Plan on not pigging out though, except on NY when we plan to eat w/fam.

So far, a 5 for me. It's going on 3 pm, and I'm having no hunger whatsoever. I've been drinking tea with whole milk added all morning, and had my resveratrol which really diminishes hunger for me (when I remember to take it). DD is coming over tonight, so I'll make split pea soup and have a bowl for dinner. She loves my split pea soup.

A solid 5 today with my potato only DD. So far I've had two yellow potatoes and will have one more in about an hour and then a cup of diet hot cocoa tonight. I don't know what this is calorie wise but probably under 500 for the day. Today has been all about resetting my mindset and forcing myself into an eating calm by eating mono today. All the holiday eating I did switched something in my brain and I was having difficulty going back into weight loss mode-mostly my UDs had all become UUADs and I felt out of control. Removing options, even on a DD, is helping me take a step back given me back control. We actually ate lunch at my in-laws and I went along but didn't eat anything. I'm getting over a bad cold so my mil didn't question my empty plate-if she only knew it was because I was only eating potatoes today and not because I wasn't feeling well

For awhile there, I almost blew it. The chocolates my SIL sent home with us yesterday were sounding very very good, but I repeated my mantra several time.......tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow.....and I'm okay now. And proud of myself! I had the HB egg and 2 turkey sausages earlier, and just now had broth with 2 rykrisp.

I'm giving this day a 5 plus because I averted temptation!

LCG-so glad you like the coffee! We were there the other day and I grabbed a bunch of samplers, Chocolate Mint was one, it smelled good, but didn't have much of a flavor. Irish cream is good

DD is going great now, a 5. I actually ate oatmeal with some pineapple and Almond milk in it. Wanted to see if I could handle the carbs from the oatmeal and it's keeping me full and I didn't crash, was only a 1/4 of cup, but very filling.

Have a dumb question, when you cook a roast in the crockpot, the broth that forms, is that basically the same nutrition counts as say beef stock from a store like Swanson's?

All of you with your 4's and 5's! Way to go! I'm more like a 2. I've been hungry all day. I'd probably be ok if I could at least go to bed, but I have to stay up past midnight to pick up kids from parties. Not my favorite down day.

4.5 today. I've had 323 calories and I'm done for the day. Love the Amy's Tamale Pie for 150 calories. A little cayenne and it's good. Fresh & Easy's turkey chili ~ not so good.
