Mine was worse than usual today--probably a 3. But I chalk it up to a serious UUAD yesterday (too many Christmas goodies at the office) and the emotions from today's horrible tragedy.

My schedule was off, didn't get nearly as many liquids in as I usually do, and I finally succumbed to a 600-calorie dinner, which was my only meal for the day. Still not awful overall, just need to handle it better next time.

Cinds, I was doing a running translation. I had a 40gram packet of salt and vinegar 'crisps' 168 cals on the bag. So probably 350 to 400.

Yes I agree the tragic event puts shock though all of us. Just a shame.
Food wise my dd has been fine, a 4.
Homemade broth at lunch.
I bought lemons for a variety of ding to my water jug.
I put the whole peeled lemon in bullet mixer.
So can add it as needed to my water.
I put I'm ice and chopped it up too, so fun I guess.
I took the smallest sip, not even a sip. Touched my tongue at the top edge side of the plastic glass which was moist.
Thought my back jaws were going to twist off. Yikes it was pain. Ha
20 calories in a whole lemon and lots of favor.

So far I'll give it a 4, hunger struck earlier today, but it's nothing I can't whistle my way thru
Not even sure of what I will be eating later, which is another downer, I really need these days planned out in advance so it's a no-brainer! Been doing good with this up until today, maybe because it's saturday lol.

Giving today a 4. It's another egg day and it's 4pm and just had my first two eggs scrambled in butter flavored Pam and spritzed with a bit of ICBINB. Very full now - we'll see if I eat anymore eggs today. I bought a diet cream soda that I can't wait to have later for a treat. Did 4 miles on the dreadmill this morning. I would give the day a 5 except that I really want to bake today and don't dare because of the DD - waaay.

Great idea! I've added lemons to my grocery list now.

I decided to make today's DD a MD. So far I've had around 300 calories, just from cream in my coffee. My stomach is growling like crazy though, so will probably eat something soon.

Ditto so far on the calories with BPC and the growling. Oddly enjoying the empty feeling for the moment though.

I am eating goose leftovers, not the fat though. After 2 UDs I felt the need for a day off the carbs.

I love that we can twist this to suit our moods.

It's only just begun after my first meal of coffee & protein bar @ 9:00, but today I'm prepared for the cold that I experience on DDs by wearing a warm turtle neck. I'm also finding it helpful to exercise for 30 min. right before my last meal of the day, which is a cold protein shake. Then I have hot herbal tea in the evening before bed.
So far a 5!

So far, so good, at a 5 I'd say. New low on the scale today after an UD, so very happy about that!
Thinking of a beef broth with diced tomatoes/juice for later, not sure how it will taste, but for 45 or so calories I won't complain lol Guess I could add all kind of seasonings and it may end up tasting like a vegetable soup base? maybe.

It's going well so far. I'd rate it a 4 day. I haven't had anything other than a stick of gum this morning. I'm planning to save the bulk of today's calories for dinnertime. Only nine hours to go. lol

My third DD egg fast in a row (with UDs in between) - fighting food boredom and a bit of hunger as it is almost 6PM and I have had only 3 HB eggs. Yuck. Can't wait for tomorrow. I'll give it a 3.

<shrug> 3-4? I dunno. I've been super busy today, which certainly helps. However, I'm hungry today. I'm not used to that anymore! It's definately PMS stuff, though, as TOM is due any day. Needless to say, I've had 2 mint kisses, a bit of rotisserie chicken while making the kids their dinner and sipped on my skinny pepperming mocha all afternoon. Looking forward to UD tomorrow, for SURE!

This is about a 1.5 for me, since I caved and turned it into a medium day. I didn't eat anywhere near my up day calorie limit yesterday, didn't remember to take resveratol this morning, and have been hungry and having trouble concentrating all day. By 4:00 pm, I'd eaten all my DD food and was at 500 calories. At 6:00, I was still hungry and ate a couple of tablespoons of coconut butter and a couple of ounces of liverwurst, so it's ending up being a medium day. Unfortunately, I have to keep working and thinking, since I'll probably be working all night--or close to it--to make a work deadline, so I'm cutting myself some slack. And tomorrow will be a hard day at work, also, so I'll decide then if I'll do another medium day or an up day. I'm looking forward to getting past some tough assignments; it's way easier for me to do DDs if I'm only working 8 hours that day.

3.8- Feel yucky- not much DD energy, but maybe because I only slept 3 hours last night and had a 5 hour compliance meeting at work!

I had 5 ounces of celery= 20 calories
with a tsp of dressing= 15 calories at 4pm
1 cup pogresso Santa Fe Chicken soup= 80 at 7pm

That's a lot for me at 8pm and I will definately have my go to bedtime snack for an extra 100 calories around 9pm.

I have an extra can of beef broth in my pantry. I might try that with 1/4 cup of rice on my DD tomorrow.

5!!! No hunger what so ever. Maybe because the last couple of days have been realllllly high calorie days. This was a well-needed DD, and I feel great . Yay for an UD tomorrow!

Oh, about a 3.5 today - just returned from a 4 day vacation at the beach, and ate off plan (no rotations or counting). It was great fun, but struggling to get back in the groove. It does feel good to get back in the saddle where I feel more in control. Yeah, tomorrow!

Sorry a bunch of you are having low days, I did too. I accidentally posted this in the UD thread, guess my mind is fuzzy today :P

My DD started at 5, but quickly went to a 1, I started to feel shaky and weird so I had to eat something much earlier than usual. I felt much better then and was able to stick to the rest of the day. First time I ever felt like that, I think it's because yesterday I didn't eat late like I usually do, so I didn't have much left to hold me over.

I have to say, this may have been the best DD I've had yet. A perfect 5. Coffee only until dinnertime around 7:15 pm, and not a hunger pang. I actually felt like I could have gone the rest of the day w/o eating anything, but didn't see the point, and had some sausage allocated that needed eating today, so wound up at 430 calories for the day. I hope I can get in three more great DDs and log some loss before the fun begins on Christmas Eve!

It's a 1 or -1. I am not hungry, but I'm very nauseated. I have had some nausea over the past week on and off, but this morning it is kinda bad. I have only had one TOM since March, and that was in Nov. Surely I can't be preggie at this age (48), lol...

Not sure what it is on the number scale, but feeling down today which in turn makes me want to eat everything! But I have to remember that the scale has rewarded me, even though I don't feel that much smaller.. will be hard feeling like this tonight when we have our holiday happy hour tonight, but I'm hoping to still stick to DD calories.

So far at 160 cals. Finished my xmas shopping today, as I only buy for mom, bf and one sister. Not even sure if I'll see that sister at xmas because she will be in London until the 29th. Of course I won't see her on xmas, but I meant during the hols, lol. Went to Best Buy to pick up something I ordered online and the sales clerk really got on my nerves...called me sweetheart, but was clearly not being nice. grrrrr

Trying to decide what I will eat later...have many choices, even though it's a DD. That's nice, isn't it?

Good day for me, a 4. Have had snacky evenings the last 2 DDs so a great relief to put on a good one. Boiled egg at lunch time and some greens with pearl barley this eve. Feel like I've achieved something today, love it
