Second DD since returning, going well. Let's be optomistic and call it a 5.

Still doing okay.
YUM!! That menu sounds wonderful!

Beef Bourgignon is on my learn-to-prepare-well list (of braised dishes) along with Coq au Vin--attempts many years ago fell rather short of expectations. I have Carbonnades Flamandes (Beef Carbonnade) down...which reminds me, it's about time to make again.

Today is about a 3, I guess. Having bilateral leg cramps since I woke up, which may be due to the potatoes from the previous two days. Today will likely be salty things (leftover cucumbers, broth?), probably soup later on.

Sorry about the leg cramps. I am very pleased with the Beef, will probably be making it for 18 people on New Year's Eve.

Well, it's late afternoon now and for some reason I'm starving Very unusual-almost wonder if it's PMS but don't think it's time yet? I've eaten 276 calories so far and wanted to stay under 360 for the day, but I might end up going over a bit. I was going to do a three mile walk with my walking club tonight but think I'll skip it now-I know that will just make me hungrier! So I guess I'd rate today at a 3.

I am too Sara. However, I have kept it pretty low (for me) so far. I cannot wait to get home and make myself a meal! LOL Walking might actually curb your appetite some...although I'm not going to try it.

I have 308 calories left to play with, if I go with my typical 500, which I may because I am stahvinnnnnn!

You're welcome. I'm thinking of calling them either Cucumis sativus...or green gourds.

Thank you...I know I lost a lot of fluid (and electrolytes) from the spud hack. Doing my best today to replenish my sodium and fluids.

Day is now up to a 4, thanks to the......green gourds in brine. Left leg 'pre-cramp' (not sure how else to describe it...sort of a twitching/ache that tells me I'm about to cramp, especially if I stretch or move wrong) is nearly gone -- which had fully cramped earlier, but top of right foot is still twitchy and sore but better than it was this morning. Must drink more water.

Yay. I enjoyed going back and reading a few days worth of posts from this thread. Misery loves company, right?

Knock on wood, it's late in the afternoon here and I've been having a 4+ DD all day.

So far only 40 calories from half and half in coffee this morning. I've been drinking so much water today, I feel like I'm sloshing. Seems to be doing the trick, though. I have not had any tummy growling and that's a good thing.

I'm planning on cold, leftover turkey breast for dinner and then Greek yogurt with frozen blueberries for desert.

Day is starting out at a 2-3, starving, but I'm pretty sure it's because I didn't eat much fat last night. As long as it's just stomach growling, then it will pass and the day will get better

4 - pretty easy so far. Chugging a gallon of green tea today to relieve some bloating and doing an egg fast to hopefully pry loose some of my stubborn, stubborn fat!!! I have planned 4 hard boiled eggs spread out through the day. Had my first egg just recently about 11:30 am and now I am a bit hungry. I'll wait till about 1Pm for egg #2. Should we call this the Adi plan?

4-5 I like.
I've been buzzing with the city luncheon my garden club does each year for the city workers. Only 9 employes in the small town. So it's not a lot of food to put together.
The city workers help us gardeners with the toting of heavy decoration we put up at our welcome garden, they load our compost for us..they just do nice things to help out. We're aren't spring chickens anymore.
It's feels so good to do something so simple for some one. they appreciate us.
I've been flying on coffee only, and fresh air! it's 3 pm. Better drink some broth. Saving my calories for supper. dd and having a very happy hang over due to eating yesterday.
I didn't have the verburps last night after my total day of 1,600 feast. I made chilie= and had frito pie. So yum.
I had two servings of corn chips.
160 calories in one serving of Fritos, their count of 32 chips! Yikes HEY IT WAS A UD.
HH day everybody.

jaymar, I'm pretty sure I've seen others here do the potato DD for more than a day, I wouldn't think there would be anything wrong with it. I pretty much have been eating the same things each DD. But I'm new, so I don't know for certain. Glad it went well for you!

My day was stressful, superly so...was glad it was DD. Didn't eat anything until about 8pm. I'd say overall, day was a 3, not one of my best so far.

It's too early to rate the day yet (only 7am here lol), but my last DD I complained that I was sooo hungry all of a sudden and it caught me off guard. Almost like PMS, but wrong time of month. Well, wouldn't you know-guess what showed up early I'm amazed at how in tune I'm becoming to my body with JUDDD-before I never had specific PMS symptoms, because I was always hungry/craving sugar Now, I know exactly when something is 'off' because my body is running so smoothly Kind of neat!

Good day so far, a 4 I think. Had potatoes for lunch but couldn't face them this eve so had a lovely mix of tuna, egg, spinach & carrot instead. The one food all day thing is not for me, I think it brings out feelings of deprivation that lead me to sugar & fat on my UDs. Anyhow, it was worth finding out, with the pleasant side-discovery that potatoes for lunch are mighty filling

So far today, my 3rd DD since restarting is a 4. I've got a bit of a headache from yesterday's UD carbs at dinner, but I think I should have enough energy to attempt 30 min. on my recumbent bike in three hours from now. I'll need the exercise to warm up my body temp. before I drink my planned chocolate protein shake for dinner.

Best wishes on a great DD!

Still doing well here. I had 1 slice of ham and LC cheese for 65 cals, then I bought a package of gum balls at the dollar store and I've chewed 2 for a total of 40 cals. So, overall at 135. Plan on picking up Wendy's chili for supper, and may have a vanilla vodka/sunkist later.

Winding down for the day and I'd rate it a 4. Would be a 5 but I ran out of diet soda, (my only caffeine source), and two of my kids were home sick

For the first half it was a 3. Second half it's a 1. I so want bed time to hurry up. I am in a terrible mood, very irritable and feel like I want to cry. I am getting fed up with the mood swings. I do get bad PMT but it isn't that, I'm not due for another 2 weeks and these horrid bad moods/swings have been around for the past week or 2.

I feel like crawling into a hole to avoid snapping someones head off.

If you're feeling that icky maybe you should just eat something extra. A few unplanned calories aren't that big of a deal in the scheme of things if they make you feel better

I'd say a 3.. cold at work and it has been an exhausting week, it would be nice to go home and tuck into some comfort/fun Friday food, but I feel like I can have the self-restraint to not have any tonight.

I had a 5 again. Just no hunger. I was cooking all day for our pretend Xmas tomorrow evening too..

Had a soya coffee at around noon, then a glass of red wine and some chips at the theatre. Finally a couple of spoonfuls of beef when we got home.

Is that around 400-500 cals, Cindy? Chips are french fries, right?

I had a mixed drink: diet sunkist and cupcake vodka (tastes like cake batter). Good, but not so great on an empty stomach. Didn't finish it, and am done for the night (calorie wise).

I'll give mine a 5. On my 3rd mug of tea, almost to 2.5 L of Mio water. Ate my rice cakes (subbed for white cheddar ones, 10 cals more each) and skinny cows about 5 hrs ago, trying to delay eating my soup for as long as possible.

I'm going to be working very, very, very late tonight.
