I hate to say this, but today is definitely a 1 or 2. I think its because I didn't eat enough calories yesterday (around 1300..) . I had interviews with parents yesterday and today and they realllly drained me.

Plus I have a huge event to go to tomorrow and I didn't want to be bloated so I have been living off protein all week. NOT FUN.

I am not really hungry (which is good!), I just feel so tired, run down and no energy what so ever.

Can't wait until Sunday for an UP DAY!!

Best DD ever, here. Reasons? I am washing walls, filling hundreds of nail holes, and painting a new-to-us-but-extremely-used house. My guess is that if I do eight-hour days, it will take roughly 6000 years to finish. This may be the best weight loss strategy ever.
Also, I finally followed Nancy's suggestion, bought bones, and made broth. It was DELICIOUS!! I just sipped it all day and had a couple of hard boiled eggs at noon.
Five. Wuhoo!

4.5 great day so far. Little iffy about the few hours b4 bed but just thought of carrots so I suspect they'll see me through.

Had a goat's yogurt after my salad for lunch and think it really helped me get to dinner. Could be a tactic worth repeating.

And Carly I love the new avi. Your smile lights up a whole thread (even a DD one )

So far 5+ I've been keeping really busy around the house and now just got back for running errands. I'm on a lc high right now because I found a diet cocoa with five less calories than the kind I was using And I discovered my Meijer carries Davinci syrup I keep hearing about this stuff and there it was, by the cocoa mixes! I picked up the raspberry flavored one and I'm going to add it to my hot cocoa tonight

Been doing small portions every 1-2 hours and I'm not hungry at all, have lots of energy and I'm feeling good! I'm really starting to like the simplicity of DDs

Aw... thanks! Good DD so far, a bit of a cold, but that's alright. I'm almost never sick since I started JUDDD. I'll give it a 5 so far, but it's only a bit after 12pm.

A five so far. Still moving houses. I thought the stress of it would make rotations harder, but it's the opposite. The days fly by. Yay!

I would say dd today has been a bout a 4, feel a bit sickish so not in the best frame of mind, however, I do still find DD's easier on the whole which has always surprised me!!

Good DD, maybe 4-4.5. Slight irritability on and off. I get this on UDs too, though. Just can't eat it away on a DD

LOL Cindy and Dawn!

Today is my first DD back from vacay, and it's going ok. I'll say 4. I'm hungry, but it *is* dinner time, so I'll get things going and even have some cals for dessert later.

Woke this morning with a raging headache & haven't managed to kick it yet. Ok hunger-wise but it's strange not using food to soothe or distract from the pain. Had a spoon of sugar in my coffee, which I haven't done since my 1st weeks on JUDDD so maybe that's my soothing mechanism now (it did help the paracetemol go down!)

All in all 3.5-4. Hoping for an easy afternoon with the kids... It just might happen

This! I went overboard on re-introducing carbs into my diet yesterday and was in bed by 9pm, absolutely miserable It feels great to have a reset day today, to get back on track and not feel icky!

So far, a 5. It's early yet. I've trimmed my tree (I mean I pruned an outdoor citrus tree! I'm not that ahead on Christmas decorating!) and made sweet potatoes for tomorrow's casserole. Later this afternoon I'll make pumpkin pies. I didn't taste the taters, and I don't think the pies will be a problem for me. As big as I am, I've never been a taster when I cook. I guess once I know a recipe is good, I just do it and trust that it'll be great.

So far, about a 2.5. Went to grab celery out of the crisper drawer for my snack -- it had gone bad (egads, was it really that old?). Tried the other crisper drawer in the fridge for the cucumber I'd remembered seeing -- same fate. Not sure why I keep buying veggies, they just come to my house to die.

Taking solace in a mug of lapsang souchong.

I have the same problem! Time just slips by, and then I wonder why my veggies are brown and slimy.

It almost hurts my feelings when I (finally) go to check on them and discover they've passed on. Why couldn't they wait just another day?

Alas, I do the same thing with containers of sour cream. I buy them, wind up hiding them behind something else, then eventually go to make something, remember "oh hey, I have sour cream in the fridge!" -- nope, what we now have is a new batch of Aspergillus. Mmmm.

Have I mentioned I have ADD?

Anyway, today has been salvaged to at least a 3. Found the 4-pack of SF Jello.
