2.5 for me ... hungrier DDs than usual this week. Maybe I should go back to bulletproof coffee. Maybe it's because I've been losing more quickly than usual the last couple weeks, or maybe I'm about to lose more (doesn't seem like it though). My pterostilbene (sp?) is coming in the mail ... maybe that will help? Don't know, but I miss my low hunger DDs and want them back.

Well, I went ahead and ate that emergency apple and then had dinner with yogurt and some turkey breast. Ended up a little higher than I had thought I would. Still a pretty good DD, but all this talk of chocolate and now I want some.

Yes, chocolate and bacon in one post, bad girl Shari!

I got up late, which is a great plan for a DD I always think, lol. We had friends aroung for a meal last night and I ate late and drank well, so it was great to be a retired person today.

I think a 4.5 today. It has been a travelling day and so far I have only had a cup of tea and a little cookie. Planning a light, broth filled, evening.

Got a scale shock this morning and that put my mood in the toilet - ugh. It's about 1:30PM here and I just had a light lunch (150 cals) so hoping that is it till I get home and can work out. Then I might have some soup. Calling it a 3 today but not so much for hunger as for mood.

TJ, sounds like we both need Sorry the scale shocked you this morning. My DD would be a 5 except for mood also, had a bad week with the 'grown' children who think party is the goal in life

Today is a 5 so far Just got back from talking to a mortgage officer about refinancing and that was a bit stressful, but we're now on our way to getting a 2.85% rate on our mortgage But, we have to pass the appraisal hurdle so that's really nerve wracking! Fighting a bit of a headache but I know it's from stress and not diet.

My past 3 DD's have all been at 500 calories and today I'd like to finish at around 400, just to see if I can do it So far I'm on track, but have half a day to get through yet

Thanks! We refinanced 3 years ago (when 4.25% was an amazing rate lol), and our house was appraised at $125,000. But then the market totally crashed We need it to be appraised at $120,000 for everything to work out. Keeping fingers crossed!

Fingers crossed .

Broth was a fail. I enjoyed some of the chicken curry I made of DH. Not a lot of it but so tasty.

Cindy, do you have a chicken curry recipe you could share? I don't eat a lot of curries, but I'm curious, and you make it sound so good. Thanks!

Today is about a 4... Would be a 5 but I woke up this morning just so tired and had a hard time getting motivated. TOM has made a visit so that explains my complete lack of energy today. My calories are low actually only at 44 calories and it is 3:30pm, no headache, and no hunger so overall very well.

A 4 for me! DDs are definitely getting easier. Nothing but water and tea so far today, but I'm feeling good beyond a bit of hunger every now and then. And I feel really happy that the scale was down another pound today--to 190.3. I'm so close to reaching my interim goal of being in the 180's.

Well, I sometimes cook a curry from scatch as I lived in India for a couple of years, also Indonesia and Singapore so I like lots of different styles of curries.

But tonight wasn't like that, I simply used a readymade curry paste stirred it into some cooked onions and added chicken leftover from last night! Served with plain white rice. I worked out the calories first it was probably less that I entered, which is always the best way.

It is quite high in oil, but once it is mixed in with everything else is isn't bad.

This is my first time on this thread - trying to get a bit stricter on DDs! My DD has been about a 3.5, I am finding that I am craving things more at the moment, even if not hungry! I have been sucessful so far today though, despite a trip to the popcorn infested cinema for my son's 12th birthday. We had a lovely day & eating my soup now.

What's a UUAD? I've tried to think of what it may be, but so far I only know that you eat too much those days

I am definitely having a 3 or so, and I think it has everything to do with the fact that I'm ovulating. I want to munch

Jacci, I'm praying that the news is positive. I know how hard it must be to have that sitting there and not know what it says. You are so strong!

UUAD is an Up Up and Away Day, when your UD calories just get thrown out the window and you eat.....whatever! Happens to everybody at some point.

jacci, I'm sorry you're having to wait until tonight to know what's in that letter! My DH would have me opening it & telling him what it said, even if it's over the phone! But, then, he's not known for his patience!

Today is a 4 so far! I'm still mad at myself for eating over calories yesterday(450 more). And I know I shouldn't be!! I was just so hungry!! I guess my mexican food that I had for lunch set me up for hunger! Bummer! Anyway, I'm ok today.

Too early to rate. As my 2nd WLM DD since maintenance break, not too bad but am a little worried about later. Very much want to be under 500 today but only 64 cals left. Just opened an L-glutamine capsule under my tongue to hopefully convince my brain that it is being fed as lunch left me still hungry. Planning FF turkey broth with a wee bit of egg whites/cream/nutritional yeast tonight. Am already more comfortable and the L-glut is not even fully gone from my mouth. Might just make it.

DD today is probably around 3.5. Hunger isn't too bad, and I'll be having my yogurt and carrots in a bit. I just feel low energy and a little bleh today. Not sure why.

Shari - good for you for being okay with your slightly higher calorie day yesterday. It happens.

Cici - glad to have you jumping back in, and so glad you're feeling better.

Well, DD has actually been a 5, ate so much yesterday I felt really bloated today!! Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers, they really mean so much. Hubby doesnt know letter has arrived, I couldnt ruin his couple of days away. When I got in from work the GP called and asked him to call for a blood test next week, I asked her if she had the biopsy results which she told me they have but she couldnt tell me....I should be getting used to this waiting...Thanks again all...xx
