5 I guess. I did a total fast so far- no coffee or tea, but it's 6:15pm and . Not the least bit hungry, but head is starting to spin. I'm going to have 1/2 cup coffee since I have to go back out at 7pm.

5-pretty occupied cleaning up from hurricane power outage and didn't have the time or thought to eat till after 5 pm. I've had about 300 cals now and feel satisfied. Might have a bit more later but might not.

Good luck Cici. Listen to your body & be kind to yourself. We all have those days, they suck!

I've a big bad headcold so not able for much today. Just getting fluids in keeps me busy. DH has sent me back to bed and, listening to the kids running around downstairs, I'm glad I'm here

All in all, a 4 so far. Hunger monster might catch up with me later tho.

Woke up hungry at 3am! Ha! So today I am contemplating that great JUDDD saying: hunger is not an emergency.
Doing Barbie meals. Meal number one was a bowl of shirataki, green onions, spinach, soy sauce and hot sauce. 50. Wuhoo!

So far a 5, but it's only 12:08pm. I'm sipping hot tea and bundled in layers. The DD shivers are getter worse now that it's actually getting cold. I'll report later. Maybe next weekend I will try the barbie meals, but I'm afraid to wake up the hungry monster so early in the day.

DD today about a 4.5 , I would say 5 but Im suffering with vertigo(have had it since Friday) and feel very peculiar!! Will call Drs tomorrow if it hasnt gone, the other reason its not a 5 is that psychologically I find DD's harder when Im not at work.

Cannot wait to weigh in tomorrow though Im hoping for a little whoosh as still losing the weight I put on on my weekend away!!

Today's been about a 3. I am having a huge case of the hungries today!! We ended up going to dinner late last night, about 8'ish... I thought for sure I was WAY over calories,...turns out I was under about 600 calories (UD) Had a 2 pound bounce on the scale and today I have been running from hungry all day long.

Wondering if I should consume more than the 500 today, or keep it DD solidly since I missed yesterday by so much?

Ready for bed already just so I don't have to hear my tummy

I would say my DD today has been about a 2... been hungry and craving like mad but stuck with the plan and didn't go over.

Wow, WTBS - that is a really good loss! Congratulations!! I find the scale moves in the right direction when my DD's are more hungry. Funny about the google return, lol!

My DD is about a 4 - feeling kinda hungry all day, still doing the Barbie meals, love this new system! I'm hoping to shed some of that Halloween candy I ate at Halloween. Butterfingers. Love. them. Could eat Butterfingers at the exclusion of nutritious food, this is why I only buy them at Halloween. Butterfingers are more calorie dense candy bars, by far, than any other candy bar that I bought. Ha. No wonder I love them so much.

I think it was Dr. Johnson that said to avoid fat and sugar together. Probably a good idea, in theory . . . .. . . .

I am enjoying a DD after an overindulgent and very jolly weekend + of eating and drinking.

Definitely a 5 and under 350 cals.

Nothing until noon, then a skinny cappuccino. 4pm a small banana, cup of tea and 2 tiny cookies (46 cals altogether).

Finally a home made Thai vegetable curry with on boiled egg added.

Energy and just no hunger, I love a DD like this.

Giving my Barbie meal DD experiment a 3 for now. It wasn't hard but I am hungry and I actually ate more calories then I normally do on DD (475 vs a more normal avg of 350 or so). HOWEVER if I have a good loss tomorrow then I reserve the right to change this to a 5+!!! I do realize I might just be having a hungry day so will try it again for sure.

wow today was the best DD I have every had sticking to 200 calories!

THE KEY: KEEEEP BUSY! I even went to an aqua fit class.

TJ, I am surprised, I would have expected it be easy. Haven't tried it myself yet.

Debra, hope you had a whoosh.

Angie, so pleased you are rocking your DDs.

I am have a 5+ too. So far I've only had a miso soup and small soya coffee and it is 7.40. cooking chicken breast for DH, but I may just have some cabbage and the leftover thai curry form my last DD.

Did frantic Zumba class today too.

Had my second Barbie style DD today and I would call it a 4 or 4.5. Mid afternoon I had some lengthy meetings and couldn't break free to eat my meals every hour so didn't get to all my planned mini meals. I am stopping for the day but am a bit hungry so might have some broth. 320 calories and an hour of callanetics. Come on scale --move!!!!

Cindy -The key for me to avoid hunger seems to be skipping food for as long as possible. The mini meals is really the polar opposite approach. I can stand a little hunger if it moves the weight loss along though so that is what my experiment is really all about. It's a poorly controlled experiment though because even if I do lose I will have no idea if this is what is doing it - but a girl's gotta try something, right?

I am usually RIGHT AT my DD calorie limit, but I am thinking of trying to cut them right down, so say, my current weight! ;-) (figure it's a good number!) and right now, I weigh 247.8, so I will have no more than 247 calories (regular math thing of rounding up won't apply here).

So far, I am actually finding my DDs easier than my UDs - just because there's no actual thinking involved.

Today I'll use a leftover cambridge shake if need be, but I am going to try to only have coffee, water and maybe treat myself to a sugar free fanta...

Today is my first DD and I'm kind of nervous about the whole thing, but I have my food plan all set and ready to go, and I have a lot going on today so I won't be home a lot ie by my kitchen lol. Should be a good day!

My DD so far is a 5! Only because it's still early!

I've had my coffee & no real plan for today's eats. With all of the UD, DD, 1 UUAD & 1 MD, I've got to really work on rotations to be clean. I've been losing & gaining the same 2 pounds for 2 weeks! It's ok tho.......'cause I know it will level out & the losses will begin again.

Make it a good DD everyone!

It's only noonish right now, so I hate to label the whole day, but right now I'd say 3.5. I've had only hot tea all morning, and am feeling a bit hungry. Not uncomfortable. Just not feeling very high energy so far.

3.5 for me. Was starving for first meal @ lunch time & my toddler suddenly decided she liked eggs AND wanted mine - eek! Since then, have had no major hunger buthave wasted calories... 8 potato wedges instead of a bowl of soup... But a cup of hot tea later & I'm fine. And they were good wedges

After a false start yesterday today is my first DD. So far it's a 5 I went to the store this morning and got some organic chicken broth, plus a few other DD friendly things. Just got home and had two Dutch Crisps with light cream cheese: 115 calories/16 carbs/3 sugar grams. I'm going to have broth for lunch and then a 'pizza' for supper (with a lc tortilla shell as the crust). I should come in under 500 calories, which is my goal. Tonight we're going out for dessert with my in-laws but I'm just going to get a diet coke.

5 so far. I have a weird day - heading out for about 5 hours of travel and meetings now and it will be evening before I can eat again so did 3 mini meals for 200 cals this morning with 17 grams of protein to hold me and will have another 200 calories this evening for a split day. SF gum and diet sodas or tea for the mid day. We'll see how this goes.

My scale had me down about 1.5 but am back to what I was before indulgence, I had coffee w/ hwc and coconut milk. I had yougurt, Am feeling very tired was gonna run to costco but decided with my bad knee noo I wouldnt do that. It is only 9:30 am in texas and 66 outside not running ac or anything but the fan. Am still getting hungry at night so decided a couple of 100 calorie snacks would be ok. Have decided my weight loss hasnt been great am thinking 2 dd to every ud anyway an experiment,
