I made it without even tasting any Halloween candy! I'm so proud of myself! I did, however, stick my face in the bag of Reese's and smell......you think I'm kidding.......I'm not! Smelled heavenly, and didn't tempt me to do more than that.

I know, I'm weird!

LCG, all the power to you! I bought the wee chocolate bars and the wee chip bags for last night, and I made a batch of chocolates for my lovely man. Felt pretty proud of myself on a DD. But I could nevah, nevah stick my face in the bag without inhaling the contents.

Yesterday's DD was a 4.5, easily. I didn't get hungry until noon, waited until 1:00, then had my chili. We went out trick-or-treating and didn't get home until around 8:00 p.m., and I didn't feel like eating that late, so I ended the day at 221 calories and had a nice whoosh this morning.

I still need to try the every hour thing at some point.

My DD is going good again - doing Pat's mini meals, works really well for me - feels like I eat more often than on UD's. Helps not feel so deprived.
Christina, I've been cold too. Always dressing in layers.
Congratulations, Dawn, on your milestone!

Thanks.

Not quite there yet, but so close I can taste it! Also, my original goal was 175, so I'm approaching that as well. I may have to break out the camera when I hit the 100 lb mark.

T/J over!

SO what do you all eat for your mini meals every hour? I am all about making DD's easier. I still struggle with dizzy spells and low bloodsugar drops that force me to eat a protein granolar bar (which has 190c!).

Today is going fairly well though!

So far I've mostly had eggs and bacon.
I'll cut bacon slices in half and then cook them in the microwave so that's only 20 cal. I'll put a baggie full in the fridge so I can just grab one when it time for a mini meal.
I'll cook 2 egg whites with 1tsp salsa for 34 cal.
Other things I've thought of but haven't done are to divide a low calorie can of soup into 30-40 cal servings.
Use a low calorie tortilla and spread a little mustard and put a slice of turkey or ham and a pickle, roll it up and slice into bites.
1/4 c of frozen blueberries is 18 cal.
Divide a 100 cal popcorn bag into 4 small servings.
These are just a few of my ideas. Maybe if enough of us are doing DDs with mini meals we should start a mini meal idea thread?

Monica- I was also going to say that you could just cut your bar into small bites to have every hour.
I haven't felt dizzy since I've been eating this way.

I feel blah today, but it has nothing to do with it being a DD (Recovery Day). I think, no I KNOW, I overdid it on the candy last night (a whole container of gummy bears and not as much Reese's as I originally thought I would devour) So today is a much appreciated and much needed thing.

Much better than expected so far. Thought I would pay big time for yesterday, an UUAAD. Don't know what possessed me. Went to the grocery last night because I wanted something really yummy for dinner. After three really clean days, I bought all kinds of junk. My "dinner" if you can call it that, was equal to an UD all by itself. Fortunately the early part of the day was light so it could have been worse. Anyway, there were a lot of refined carbs floating through my system over night and I thought I would have a carb hangover today but got lucky.
Doing mini meals. Everything is prepared to grab and go. So far polite little stomach signals every hour. Clearly, I am not feeling sick any more and whatever brought me down last week is gone.

That's great news that you're feeling better, Cici. I wonder if it's one of those situations where the thing that your body is sensitive is what it craves. I've heard that about food sensitivities and food allergies. You'd think our bodies would be HELPING us avoid those things, but somehow it asks for more of it. Or maybe it's some foreign thing in our gut that's sabotaging us.

At any rate, glad you're not feeling any bad effects, and heading into a good, solid, DD!

I actually stayed away from wheat and dairy, my two known sensitivities. It was corn chips and candy which I usually don't even think of eating that could not stop eating until I was just about comatos.

3.5 for me. I've been playing w waiting as long as I can b4 eating and easily got to 3.30. Then I had an orange, an hour later an apple, then some cherry tomatoes b4 soup for dinner. Had also been aiming for a sub 400 day but didn't quite make it. Can't help but think that a HB egg would have sated me so much more at 3.30. Next time...

3 - 4 today for me. I'm about to have my lunch broth, and am not ravenous. I feel pretty good except for a mildly tender tummy. Not sure what that's about. Tiny dinner tonight will feel good.
